Great canadian beer but sort of an aquired taste. Something you can drink several before feeling full. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. For God, for Country, and for Yale. For we think it is but right, sir, On Wednesday and Saturday night, sir, To get most gloriously tight, sir, To drive dull care away. It is a way we have at old Yale, sir, To drive dull care away.

350ml bottle from The Grumpy Goat, Reading. Amber colour with white head. Watery sweet biscuit malt, light clementine pulp, light mixed herbs, grains. Thin body. Decent.

bottle. Poured clear gold with a frothy white top. Light malty aroma. Light-medium body, average carbonation, lingering finish. Flavour of cereal malt but more grainy, slight peppery hop note. Nothing outstanding.

I picked up this bottle at the drink of the world in Geneva, after one day of work this last week-end and I drank it on the train, coming back at home. In my own opinion, this beer is boring and there is nothing special but it is drinkable. For a pale ale style, the taste is really watery, few hop, typical English hop but the bitterness is really weak, few malt. The color is copper typical from these beers, normal carbonation, thin and white foam.

Can at Maple Leaf, Covent Garden. Nul aroma. Golden. Thick fluffy white head. Low key taste: sweet and sour. Industrial. Light bodied. Watery. Fizzy carb. Abrupt finish. Pretty pants.

Clear yellow beer with small white head. Aroma is sweet honey and malty. Taste is flat, watery, weak sweet malty and corns. Aftertaste is like bitter and sour water. Drinakble, but nothing more.

Considering that pale ale isn’t one of my favourite types of beer, its a damn good one. Pours orange with big white head that unfortunately goes away quick while leaving no lacing behind. Crisp taste, not over hooped. Small bitter finish to it. Light to medium body, crisp and refreshing.

Tallboy from LCBO. Pours a huge foamy bubbly white head that stays for a while. Leaves behind some thick patchy lacing. Lively carbonation. Has a clear golden appearance. Aromas are very grainy, some faint hints of grass and wheat. Flavours aren’t much different from aroma but does have much more grassy notes and even a bit herbal. Some wheaty hints. Fairly smooth and somewhat oily mouthfeel. Not bad but nothing special either, a pretty weak pale ale.

Pours pale yellow with a white froth. Aroma is light straw grains and a hint of cardboard. Taste is uninteresting, plain and dull.
