On tap at the brewpub, pours a clear pale yellow with very little nose. Sweeter than the Golder Lager, with just a hint of honey. Not great on its own, but better than most sacrificial light beers. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2010
On tap at Moosejaw. Poured clear pale golden with a tight cap of white head. The aroma was on the sweet side, with soft honey and pale malts joined by buttery accents. The flavor found dryer honey throughout with very little bitterness.. not bad, but not enough going on to keep me interested. Light-bodied and again a little buttery on the palate.. dry and grainy beyond that.. drinkable. jarow (237) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 27, 2010
On tap. Poured a clear light yellow. Nose was sweet with light grassy malt and some honey. Tasted like a sweet watered down golden ale with honey, but the honey reminded me of processed grocery store clover honey, so it wasn’t anything special. This one really wasn’t doing it for me - the honey didn’t mix well with the other aspects of the beer, which was already rather watery and dull. jsf23mr (218) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 26, 2010

Pours a clear gold and thin white head. No aroma. Some malt flavor. Light body, clean finish. Average at best. I’m not a honey ale fan.

On tap at brewery, sampler flight. Clear golden with some head sticking to glass rim. Thick in the mouth with very light honey notes. Overall unmemorable. CaptainCougar (7133) - Columbia, Maryland, USA - NOV 18, 2007
On tap at the brewpub on 6/22/07: Pours a transparent pale yellow with a thin, wispy-lacing white head. Aroma of pale malty grain with a hint of sweet honey. Body starts with a touch of sweetness, some lemon tartness and a touch of soapiness. Not very good. kp (10882) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - SEP 1, 2007
