On tap at the brewpub - Pours amber with a ring of white head. Nose is toast and orange marmalade and herbal hops. Taste is real malty, bready, and dry, with herbal and grassy hops that impart a mild bitterness through the finish. Medium body with smooth carbonation. Tasted more like a bitter. deyholla (12021) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUN 14, 2012

Light golden red color dense white head. Resinous piney aroma very light. Watery palate. Bland piney weak ipa, not much to it but water and some pine sol... blah! 1FastSTi (3361) - Glendale, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 6, 2011
Tap. Pours to a clean golden amber body with a nice white head. The aroma is pine and grassy hops with a balanced malt. The flavor was mostly pine and grapefruit with a grassy backbone. Nice malts that balanced the bitterness. esjaygee (3904) - Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 20, 2011

Aroma is of faint hops with slight caramel notes. Pours a cloudy brown color with a freakishly unnatural almost greenish color. Citrus and pine notes with a waterery finish. nuplastikk (6414) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 6, 2010
Draft at Moosejaw. Hazy orange-brown color. Thin, steady soapy head. Mellow malty aroma with a hint of orange hops. Mellow APA, lots of earthy hop tones. Well balanced, rather sessionable. Soapy caramel finish. OK, par stuff. Scubatrip (610) - Annandale, Virginia, USA - AUG 24, 2010
On tap at the brewpub, pours a clear red, nice white foamy head. Not much in the nose. Taste is thick and malty, with hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. Very smooth with a lightly bitter aftertaste. Good beer. Ughsmash (7508) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2010
On tap at Moosejaw. Poured clear lighter amber with a dense, creamy off-white head. The aroma was on the sweet side, with caramel, honey, and lesser fruits present.. nice pine and grassy accents. The flavor found enjoyable juicy pine resin and earthy bitterness over soft caramel and a touch of honey.. tasty stuff! Medium-bodied and a tad sharp from the bitterness on the palate.. just an OK flow.. solid brew overall. jarow (237) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 27, 2010
On tap. Pours a clear medium amber. Nose is sweet, caramel malts and an earthy piney hop aroma in the background. Taste is along the same lines. Medium-body, caramel and toffee malts, a nice amount of hoppy bitterness growing towards the finish.
