Red-brown. Malty, sweet aroma. Some light toasty malt that becomes more apparent as you drink. Scubatrip (610) - Annandale, Virginia, USA - AUG 24, 2010
On tap at the brewpub, pours a clear red with an ok off-white foamy head. Musky taste - malts, tree root, bark at first, then caramel, apple, sweet toffee with an even balanced finish. Actually not a bad beer. Ughsmash (7502) - Pewaukee, Wisconsin, USA - AUG 13, 2010
On tap at Moosejaw. Poured medium iced tea brown with very little head. The aroma was soft with fruits, honey, and molasses leading.. some berries on the back. The flavor found sweet berries and other fruits along with molasses and caramel.. light fruity bitterness surrounded.. odd for an amber. Light-medium bodied with almost no perceptible carbonation on the palate.. not so good. weitz15 (622) - Nashville, Tennessee, USA - AUG 2, 2010
Somewhat think palate on this one. No aroma at all, with a grassy flavor with a mild hop presence. jarow (237) - Massachusetts, USA - JUL 27, 2010
On tap. Pours a clear amber. Sweet caramel malts, little in the way of hoppiness. Not bad.

Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. No obvious aroma. moderate malt flavor, hints of caramel. Medium body, clean finish. About what you should expect for an amber. nuplastikk (6511) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 5, 2010
Draft at the OF. Some mild amber-vanilla tones. Regular session Amber, inoffensive, but hardly anything special. Medium bodied. Straight up session beer all the way. Fruity ale characteristics, and some mild dirty malt tone, no real hop character to speak of. 6-row? msante79 (2244) - Mount Prospect, Illinois, USA - MAY 5, 2009

Sampled on draught: Poured a bright amber colour with a medium sized frothy white head. Caramel and raisiny notes on the palate. Soft chewy fruit- something like grapes. Aroma is ok, a little dull- sweet malts on the nose."
