COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This full-bodied, dark brown ale has an abundance of rich, malty flavor. The combination of Dark Belgian & English malts provides a biscuit/raisin character, rather like a toasted currant on the edge of a scone.

Orange color and tan head. Very malty scent. Both malt and alcohol were the main flavors. Think they got the balance a bit wrong, because I thought the alcohol overpowered the malt (and I would expect the other way around), but its not a bad beer.

Bright copper color with a small lid of light tan bubbles. Heavy sweet malt aroma. Alcohol hits, and warms, from the start, but malt flavors dominate throughout. Undertones of mild light fruit and toasted grains. A bit rough in the start, but a nice chewy ale after and through the finish.
