3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Amber colored, no head. Honey and fruit (raspberry) aroma is very sweet and sugary. Rye flavor and alcohol is very prevalent. Rye aftertaste is lingering. Light hop profile and light candi sugar notes. Rather lacking for a winter beer.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Orange color and tan head. Very malty scent. Both malt and alcohol were the main flavors. Think they got the balance a bit wrong, because I thought the alcohol overpowered the malt (and I would expect the other way around), but its not a bad beer.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bright copper color with a small lid of light tan bubbles. Heavy sweet malt aroma. Alcohol hits, and warms, from the start, but malt flavors dominate throughout. Undertones of mild light fruit and toasted grains. A bit rough in the start, but a nice chewy ale after and through the finish.
