2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
On draught. Golden colour with slightly yeasty aroma and a small head that dissipates. Some light fruit initially but not too sweet, a little malt and then a slightly watery, empty middle which is made up for somewhat by a late moderately bitter finish. Not bad but not particularly memorable.
Half pint on tap at the Plough, Doncaster.
Thick creamy white head. Clear golden pour. Lovely bitterness despite the 3.6% abv. Nicely done. Mr_Pink_152 (5004) - Lincoln, Lincolnshire, ENGLAND - JUL 28, 2016
Tried at the Three Horseshoes, Waddington. Golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma has light malts and a touch of citrus. Taste light bitter, with a bitter finish. theprof (951) - Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, ENGLAND - JUN 7, 2016
Cask. Aroma modestly lemony. Pours golden amber with lace top. Taste is similarly citrus fruit with malts lurking at the base and a stronger grapefruit finish. Adequate, but not one to seek out. mr_h (5532) - Ayr, SCOTLAND - MAY 8, 2016
Cask, 1/3 pint, hand-pulled, PRAF 2016, Town Hall, Paisley (21 Apr 2016), yeasty, lemon aroma, golden with a short-lived bubbly off-white head and negligible lacing, grassy, citrus, creamy, good carbonation. berkshirejohn (6501) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - FEB 24, 2016
Cask at the Nags Head, Reading. Pale amber with a ring of white head; lemon citrus aroma; fresh lemon and grapefruit bitterness with a chewy malt body; and a clean refreshing grapefruit finish. Moreish and full of flavour.

Cask at The Water House (JDW), Durham, £2.09/pint. (At 3.6%)
Good-looking, golden-amber beer with a small, white head. The nose is neither here nor there, with only light, delicate floral tones detectable. The taste is pretty crisp and bitter but full of lavender, floral and soapy notes that are a little overpowering. The finish is long and dry with some biscuity malts to be found but it’s more of a hop-led pint - the issue is that the hop character isn’t all that pleasant. Malt does come into play a little later in the pint, with some interesting creamy flavours but all told it’s nothing special at all. imdownthepub (14553) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - FEB 9, 2015
Cask conditioned at Fleetwood Beer Festival ’15. Gold with white head. There was a real sicky, floral note to this from the start, tartish. A real struggle to finish it unfortunately.
