ManVsBeer (10669) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - MAY 1, 2017
Cask @ Sowerby Taps, Sowerby Bridge. Copper-amber with a thick creamy head. Mildly bushy-floral in its nose, it has a grainier, malty taste.

niquillis (2752) - Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 29, 2015
Cask at Old Red Lion, Ipstones. Pours mid brown with an off white head. Quite a malty basic bitter. Not much going on, smooth enough just dull.

Bottle from Fenwicks Newcastle. Pours deep ruby colour. Nice and light in flavour - lemony aroma, good fruity tastes. Very good beer from an underrated brewery

500ml bottle provided at lunch with my nephew and family. (Thanks, John), poured into an English pint. Hazy reddish brown with an offwhite head. Spicy and berry aroma. Toffee malt and Christmas spice in the flavour. Sweetness balanced by a nice bitter finish. Nice festive ale.

dogbomb (1229) - ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2012
Cask. Christmas Eve. Dark reddish rusty ale. Off white creamy steady head. Aroma is mostly malt with a little hoppy grass and spice. In the mouth it's quite creamy and warm malts. A little toffee and then some nice spices. Not too heavy handed just a nice level to make it festive. A little clove, a hint of cinnamon. Rests easy on the palate with a nice warming level of spice. Very tasty.

Cask Conditioned gravity dispense Wig & Pen Northampton. A copper coloured beer with a ring of off-white head. A touch of cranberry like fruit in the nose but it’s quite plain otherwise. Drinkable and were it not for the fact that the stillage was outside in sub zero temperatures there might have been a really good beer in here.
