Bottle at desk. Opens with a hearty hiss. Pale yellow / straw coloured pour with a lively lasting white froth. Aroma is a bit funky, rustic straw and wheat grains with tangy pineapple, hints of brett and funk. Flavour is composed of pale grains, straw, rough wheat, tangy bitter pineapple and citrus rind, bitter grapefruit, little funk Assertive back of the throat/ Signs of a mild infection. Hint of smoke. Palate is medium light, effervescent. Ok slightly infected.

Cask at the State bar. It pours clear deep gold with a decent white head. The nose is soft, juicy, fragrant, lemon, lime, lychee and biscuit. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, bread, grapefruit, lemon, light biscuit, touch of peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent stuff.

Cask at Pilgrims Progress, Bedford. Medium gold, plentiful carbonation with a good-sized white head. Lemon drops, gardenia and talcum powder aroma. Fruity taste, more bitter than sweet but well-balanced. A moment of puckering bitterness leave to usher forth a juicy citrus and tropical fruit finish. More bitterness later on in the long aftertaste. Wow.
