Cask @ Hamilton Hall Sporks. Pours pale blonde with a lasting white head, on top form I might add. Nose has sweet pale malts and grassy, citric hops. Taste is much the same, sweet at first then a nice dry citric grassy hop bite in the swallow. Clean and refreshing, a great summer thirst quencher.

Towey1989 (3270) - Stoke On Trent, Staffordshire, ENGLAND - SEP 24, 2017
Cask at The Green Dragon, Leek (JDW) a clear deep golden colour with a frothy white head. Aroma of orange, grapefruit, some pine, slight biscuity bready malts and subtle spicy, herbal hops. Taste of orange, grapefruit, some pine, slight biscuity, bready malts, a hint of caramel and subtle spicy, herbal hops. Medium bodied and soft carbonation. A dryish, subtley piney, spicy hop bitterness in the finish. A solid, hoppy bitter. Really well made, another good Mordue Beer.

The_Osprey (9159) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 17, 2017
Cask handpull at The Crosse Keys London as ’Mordue IPA’, 5.1%. Golden orange, clear and still with a foamy diminishing off white head. Aroma is musty, some mulched paper and mixed citrus. Body is smooth with soft carbonation. Taste is resinous and pithy up front. Dusty grapefruit and dried flowers. Full flavoured with a raspy straw-like astringency. Assertively bitter for a mainstream Wetherspoons offering. Packs a punch. An enjoyable half but maybe a bit too bitter for a pint. Not a beer for beginners. (6-4-7-4-14=3.5)

Cask in a Newcastle Wetherspoons. Blond with a foamy white head. Mild citrus aroma. The taste is citrus. Quite bitter with a touch of peach and biscuit. OK

Cask Pint at Wibbas Down (JDW), Wimbledon, London in Mar 2010 - Yellowy Gold in colour. Very Fruity; citrus grapefruit and tropical fruit. Hoppy; slightly piney resinous hops. Malty; sweet malts and caramel. Nice fruit/hop/malt balance. Slightly bitter citrus fruity hoppy throughout. Dry throughout. Very drinkable. (2010-03)

mR_fr0g (13517) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - DEC 24, 2015
Bottle at desk. Opens with a hearty hiss. Pale yellow / straw coloured pour with a lively lasting white froth. Aroma is a bit funky, rustic straw and wheat grains with tangy pineapple, hints of brett and funk. Flavour is composed of pale grains, straw, rough wheat, tangy bitter pineapple and citrus rind, bitter grapefruit, little funk Assertive back of the throat/ Signs of a mild infection. Hint of smoke. Palate is medium light, effervescent. Ok slightly infected.

Scopey (15747) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 29, 2015
Cask at the State bar. It pours clear deep gold with a decent white head. The nose is soft, juicy, fragrant, lemon, lime, lychee and biscuit. The taste is crisp, bitter, earthy, bread, grapefruit, lemon, light biscuit, touch of peppery spice with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent stuff.

jjsint (3496) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - JUL 25, 2015
Cask at Pilgrim’s Progress, Bedford. Medium gold, plentiful carbonation with a good-sized white head. Lemon drops, gardenia and talcum powder aroma. Fruity taste, more bitter than sweet but well-balanced. A moment of puckering bitterness leave to usher forth a juicy citrus and tropical fruit finish. More bitterness later on in the long aftertaste. Wow.

Don2711 (494) - - JUL 10, 2015
Biscuit orange grapefruit. Fruity hops. Good tight head and nice bitterness. Nice one.
