wheresthepath (2334) - Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - DEC 19, 2016
Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Reading. Amberwith a thick creamy head and a light fizz. Great condition on this one. Sweet malt up front with a touch of toffee. A little mineral character but not enough to be distracting. Solid earthy bitterness and a touch of blackcurrant. Slight peppery tingle. Good balance, good flavour. Very nice bitter actually, but it’s not a Christmas beer.

Bullit (4637) - Burgos, SPAIN - DEC 12, 2016
Cask @ Wetherspoon Stansted. Chestnut coloured, thin offwhite lacings. Nose is caramel, nutty, slightly spicy. Flavour is caramel, nutty, light fruity, slightly bitter.

The_Osprey (7985) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 23, 2016
Cask handpull at Hamilton Hall London as ’Mordue Tinsel Toon’. Dark amber orange, translucent and still with a dense foamy white head, leaving thick lacing. Aroma is a touch farty, potato peel. Body is smooth, rounded, soft carbonation. Taste is sugary, malted milk biscuits, salted rusks, lightly floral, soft bitterness with a salty-sweet linger. Tastes better than it smells! (3.1)

mike_77 (6668) - Breda, NETHERLANDS - DEC 31, 2012
Copper colour. Hint of apple in the aroma. Thin and watery. A disappointing, plain bitter.

ManVsBeer (10464) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 27, 2012
Healthy looking golden ale with a thin creamy head, but also a thin bodied texture that isn’t so pleasant. Its understated aroma is of wild fruit, little of this is found in its taste.

3.4
DruncanVeasey (8226) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - DEC 17, 2012
Cask handpull, The Felix (JDW), Nuneaton, 15/12/12. Creamy-topped dark copper. Light pear and orange aroma; some grass. Decent orange tang, creamy malt, vanilla linger with walnut hints.

Cask by handpump at Prestwick Pioneer - clear amber, thin bubbly off-white head, minimal malty aroma, caramel, hint of something spicy, bit of fruit, clean finish

2.9
berkshirejohn (6501) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - DEC 12, 2012
Cask at the John Russell Fox (JDW), Andover. Deep chestnut with a compact cream head; malty aroma; thin in the mouth with a malty body with some red fruit; adn atouch of spicy English hops to finish. A rather ordinary bitter, and not very Christmasy.

3.3
imdownthepub (14554) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - NOV 25, 2012
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Brown to amber with white head. Smooth, malty beer, bready but quite bitter, dry, palate filling although a touch tinny. Ok without getting exciting.
