Sweet, malty, fruit (cherries?), coffee bitter in the aftertaste. Interesting, but not spectacular. Alengrin (5438) - BELGIUM - JUN 27, 2017
Morebeer (Peter van den Arend and co) collaborating with Stone (Berlin) for a dry-hopped Dunkelweizen, curious about this, from tap at Craft & Draft. Very thick and creamy, dense, inches thick head, cloudy deep chestnut-caramel brown colour with ochre-ish hue. Aroma of ripe banana, ripe peach, soggy brown bread, cake dough, cloves, white pepper, brown sugar, curry ketchup, grape juice, orange, green gooseberry. Fruity, estery onset, lots of the expected ripe banana ester of course, hints of ripe juicy pear, plum and a sourish grapey note as well, the latter accentuated by the wheat; medium carbo, soft and fluffy mouthfeel. Bready and caramelly malt middle with soapy ’wheatiness’, citrusy touch in the end from the hops, bit spicy, some phenols too, dryish and earthy, softly bitterish. The dry-hopping effect goes a bit lost in the esters and phenols here, making the end result not all that different from a traditional Bavarian Dunkelweizen, but by itself an enjoyable dark wheat beer - though I expected more from a collab of these two parties. On tap at NHBF’17. Hazy amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, some burnt caramel, banana, spicy yeast, light hoppy. Flavour of wheat, caramel, banana, spicy yeast, light hoppy bitter finish, sweetish. Light bodied. Decent Dunkelweizen, no more, no less. Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - MAY 7, 2017
Morebeer / Stone Arrogant Eagle
On tap @ Beer Temple. Looks nice and really really deep cloudy. Brownish almost a little muddy in color and with a huge fluffy and everlasting beige head on the top. It smells like heffe. Banana and a little darkness. Lots of yeasty and floral almost tones. There’s hints of caramel also here. Nice. It has a thin oily texture in the mouth and it’s just below average on the carbonation. Not super impressed by the taste, but it’s nice enough. Papery and a good amount of mouthdrying astringent tomes at first. More banana, cola and yeast sweetness. Grows on you. Works quite good with that fantastic Orval cheese they serve here. 07.05.2017 culchiem (4015) - Berlin, GERMANY - APR 11, 2017

Tap at Brody’s. Murky brown with big creamy beige head. Lots of cloves, caramel, light bready, allspice, overripe banana, some cola and light grassy hops. Under medium sweet, some spicy bitterness and a tart touch. Just medium bodied. Svartvit (628) - NETHERLANDS - APR 2, 2017
From draft at Brody’s Den Haag. Pours a murky sewer water appearance. Overripe fruits, banana, clove, yeast, spices. Not very inviting. Half decent, just not my thing.
