Tap at Noord-Hollands bierfestival ’17, Alkmaar: Almost black colored brew with an sweet bitter taste with some dryness, hints of roasted malts, some lemon and a little bit of coconut. JorisPPattyn (9928) - Ursel, BELGIUM - APR 20, 2017
Fast receding yellow-tan head over virtually black beer. End of bottle, however, features the largest, most intimidating UFO ever witnessed, a true sludge.Very fruity nose, citrus, chewing gum, green leaves, faint roast, cocos & whisky; quite unusual aroma for an R.I.S. Roast, mild bitter with sweet background; cocos and spirit. Banana, cucumber retronasal. Coconut flavour mounts warming up, traces of lime appearing. Well-bodied, but not really viscous-thick. Restrained alcoholwarming, medium carbonation. Very good, very unusual R.I.S. Thanks for sharing! Svesse (8579) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - APR 1, 2017
(Draught at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 23 Feb 2017) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts and citrus peel. Malty, roasted taste with coffee, chocolate, vanilla, roasted nuts and a balanced citric/cacao bitterness. Full body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made imperial stout with an interesting touch of nuts and citrus. Very nice. Inoven (695) - Oirschot, NETHERLANDS - MAR 21, 2017

Bottle shared with TomHendriksen, Roelzie and Inoven @ tasting at TomHendriksen. Clear brown color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, lightly coconut, a bit sweetish like brown candy sugar. Taste malts, brown malts, coconut quite prominently and I guess a hint of lime. Mainly malt bitterness. Decent to medium body and carbonation. Ok. caesar (7099) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - MAR 15, 2017
Tap @ Beertemple, 15 cl sample. Dark color, short frothy head. Aroma of loads of coconut, sweet cookie and a touch of lime, upon a sweet RIS. Cookie and coconut sweetness in taste, slight roasty coffee and a hint of fruity lime. Preferred this one over the BA version, as the coconut is more prominent here, which I like. Sampled from tap at ’Beertemple’. Pitch black with a frothy, beige head. Sweetish, slightly roasty-malty aroma of milk chocolate, coconut, hazelnut and some vanilla. Sweetish, malty moderately roasty taste of milk chocolate, nougat, hazelnut, vanilla and quite a bit of coconut, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, rather roasty finish. Medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very tasty! MonsterMagnet (1418) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 8, 2017
Bottle, pours black with a beige head. Nice roast and cocos aroma. Taste follows with dark chocolate, sweet liquorice and lime. Great stuff. ZodiacM (1140) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 5, 2017
LCI. Poured from the bottle. This is so good: a RIS that tastes like Malibu, cocos and chocolate with a hint of lime. Awesome!
