Reddish brown in color with a thick white head. Sweet hoppy aroma with malt tone. Sourish citrus bite at first sip with a malty finish. NoiZe (2394) - Zeist, NETHERLANDS - MAY 13, 2006
It’s dark amber coloured. Aroma of toasted malts. The taste is very drinkable. Malty flavor with hints of caramel. Overall a nice, but different, belgian ale. LFK (1) - Camas, Washington, USA - APR 12, 2006 does not count

Dark amber color, sweet malty taste, deep sweet smell like vanilla and banana. long lasting toffee aftertaste.
(bottle) Clear copper colour with a mid-sized foamy tanned head. Sweet toasted malts aroma with hints of soap. Sweet malty flavour and taste, medium bodied, moderately carbonated. Sweet and light hoppy finish. Not really bad, but a tad too sweet for me. Hunsell (403) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - NOV 13, 2005
Foxy amber, small white head. Malty, sweetish nose. Malty taste, sweet, but with unpleasant medicinal notes. Finishes short. JorisPPattyn (10072) - BELGIUM - JUL 24, 2005
Foxy amber; good amber thick head. Bit oppressive toasted malt nose, grassy. Cookie malt, ambrée, cornflakes in a would-be Belgian taste. Light burning MF, adequate body. Pfff. Silly amber. Mklein818 (172) - Etterbeek, Virginia, BELGIUM - MAY 16, 2005
This is kind of a harsh, commercial attempt to brew a sweet but weak belgian style dark beer. It’s not bad, but when you are at a party, like I was, and this was the only beer around, you really start to get nostalgic for Miller Lite after the fourth or fifth of these puppies. It scores well in the aroma department because despite numerous people having had this poured on them (this was a MAJOR party), the general scent of the place wasn’t unpleasant.
