Drank a bottle at Hoopman last night. I didn’t knew what to expect but it was a fine beer. Sweet, fruity aroma. Nice colour. Heard this is some kind of ’endangered specie’ under the beers.

Bottle of 30cl Off white head. Clear light amber pour. Ok, not very exciting

Amber bier met vlakke duffe smaak. Niet lekker. Lijkt op een flauwe de Koninck.

Boring Belgian amber beer. Caramalt, some sweet fruit and a bit metallic. A remnant of the old Belgian hegemony.

Bottle of 300 ml at home. Colour is dark copper/light amber. Head is one and a half finger tall, beige ion colour and froathy.Minimal activity in the glass. The head leaves some lacing behind. Aroma of fruits, yeast, some caramel and some hops. Taste is sweet, with some pear and light caramel flavour. On the body is average thick. Carbonation is also average. Overall a very nice beer in an affordable price.

(on tap) Clear golden brown with white loose head. Pleasant but subtle aroma - caramel most significant. Light body, fizzy but ok carbonation. Flavour was caramel with some subtle interesting notes. Overall an easy drinking, somewhat different beer.

20/VII/2012 - 33cl bottle @ home - BB: VI/12 - (2012-728) Thanks to Martinus for the bottle!

Clear amber beer, fizzy crackling creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: sweet malts, caramel, pretty fruity, banana, strawberries, little chocolaty. MF: soft carbon, medium body. Taste: malty sweet start, citric hops, bit bready, pretty bitter. Aftertaste: sweet malts, some caramel, citrus, touch of banana, little sour, nice bitter ending. I like it.

Test vom 20.11.2010, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,10,11,10,10,11 - 10,55

30cl bottle. The color is more like copper than amber. Big frothy head. Taste is bread, flowers, grass. It is a sweet beer.

30 cl. Bottle. Fruity aroma indeed. Taste is somewhat sweet bitter in the aftertaste. Poors amber with small head.

Nice dark amber like color. Don’t smell that much. Average taste, low body and carbo.
