Draft at the brewpub. Golden amber with a pretty big foam head. Light caramel aroma. Nice well-balanced crisp brew --- light caramel malt, bitter apple, easily quaffable and good. I had more than one. (#3020, 7/14/2007) prosqtor (408) - Appleton, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 7, 2008
From the brewery on 12/4/07. I liked this one the best of the samples I had, and I had more than one full-size after dinner with my companion! Much like the Altbier but with slightly more carbonation and more hops. Very drinkable. baraciisch (3234) - California, USA - SEP 28, 2010
Light tan orange color... Aroma of biscuits, toffee, malts... Flavor is more toffee, biscuits, kind of creamy, light and crisp body... Nice beer cb23 (97) - St. louis, Missouri, USA - APR 4, 2009
On tap at the brewpub. Poured a beautiful copper color with a small white head. Smelled predominately of sweet malt with some fruity elements. Tasted very sweet and fruity with some taste I can’t quite remember. the finish brought on some nice fruity floral hop notes that left a crisp lingering finish on the palate. I have had only one other Vienna style beer, but I thought this one was very simple but well executed. kwoeltje (2233) - Manchester, Missouri, USA - JUN 18, 2005
Light copper color. Very small off white head with nice lace on glass. Faint malt aroma. Flavor is malt with a hint of caramel.

Sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear dark orange color with a thin off-white head that dissipates slowly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Bready malt and hops in the nose. Light-bodied and moderately hoppy with some grainy malt and caramel in the background. The finish is on the hoppy side with lightly toasted malt aftertaste. Just average overall. jandd1983 (4318) - Wentzville, Missouri, USA - JUN 17, 2012
Sampled at the 2012 Heritage Festival. It poured a copper color with a small white head. The aroma was of malt with some mild fruity notes. The taste was fruity with some floral hop notes. A decent Vienna. BeerandBlues2 (13311) - Escondido, California, USA - JUL 21, 2008
Draught at Morgan St. Pours clear orange with a small, frothy, white head, somewhat lasting with fair lacing. Aroma is average malt (grain, cereal), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of pear. Light bodied, sticky texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness. bitter (1136) - Henderson, Nevada, USA - AUG 2, 2005
this is a lighter version of a fat tire ale...if you can make it any lighter? amber hue clear with a defunct head. clean on the palate with toffee overtones and well, thats it. Drew (2411) - Kent, Ohio, USA - NOV 21, 2005
Strange that they had 2 Vienna styled brews in their lineup. At least this one was a little more drinkable. Soft bodied, light caramel flavors that became more sugary tasting as it went along. Good enough to pair with food - it’s a bit boring on it’s own.
