2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Aromas of golden earth--hay, straw--, toffee, and bread. Golden-orange, with off-white head foam. Some sweetness, balanced nicely by a soft bitterness. Light-medium bodied with average carbonation, and finishes pretty clean with some lingering caramel and yeasty/fruity flavors.
Light yeast, grain and cereal malts, light lactose, lots of fruit. Clear gold, medium, frothy, white head. Light sweet. More grain malts, wheat, yeast, lots of fruit again. Not really working for me this Zwickel, too much, overpowering yet very generic fruitiness to it. Bottle at random bar, Venice. cagou007 (1169) - FRANCE - MAY 29, 2016
Pours hazy pale amber with medium white head. Nose is malty and yeasty. Aromas are sweet malts, grassy hops, ripe fruits. Average carbonation, medium body. Medium sweet and fruity finish. GregNC (118) - - MAY 28, 2016
Bottled 33cl. Nose : light, cereals. Low carbonation, medium white head. Low texture. labeerinthum (865) - Milano, ITALY - NOV 13, 2015
UPDATED: NOV 28, 2015 Bottiglia @ Simei 2015, Milano. Saeglopur (2178) - Vienna Woods, AUSTRIA - JUN 7, 2015

Amber-orange, hazy body, with a big, frothy, rocky, off-white head.
Aroma of grains, bread, honey, some citrus and slight other fruits.
Tastes of grains, grass, herbs, some honey, some medicine, slight lemon zest.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes bitter, herbal, quite dry, zesty, with some honey.
OK. Smell is quite good, taste is a bit too herbal for me. Nothing special, slightly above average lager beer.
deep golden. Clearly Belgian yeast in the nose, with some hop and malt character but not too distinctive. The mouth has a touch of band aid. Malty. Really undistinguished. Foffern (1879) - Bodø, NORWAY - MAY 29, 2013
Bottle at home. Pours a hazy dark orange colour with a big soapy off-white head. Aroma of hay, pale malt, citrus and Belgian yeast. Fruity flavour of pear, sweet malt and marzipan. Has a rich and slick mouth feel, and a light bitterness. A fruity, rich and good beer. Rune (12777) - Tromsø, NORWAY - APR 26, 2013
500ml bottle picked up at Vinmonopolet Vika in Oslo and carried back home. Partially gushing content. Big rocky, white head slowly collapsing over a muddy, orange coloured body. Fruit and grain to the nose. Taste of mid-sweet, earthy malts, a little lactose and spices on a backbone of subdued yeasty fruitiness. Dry spiced fruity ending. Easy to drink. Just alright (Tromsø, 25.04.2013). Palme (4811) - Bergen, NORWAY - APR 22, 2013
0.5l bottle shared with The Tasting Crew. Light cloudy in the glass with a big off-white top and some big chunky sediments. Flour and fruits on the nose. A little bit of wheat as well. The aroma is not that bad at all. It’s average on the carbonation and thin oily on the mouthfeel. A bit herbal and floral flavors. I get more of that wheat, some grains before It ends quite dry in the mouth. Straight forward, easy to drink but not especially memorable. 31.03.2013 ej (1330) - Hauglandshella, NORWAY - MAR 31, 2013
Golden and hazy with loads of floaties. Relatively low head formation. Mellow aroma of white bread, maize and malts. Taste is mellow and rather bland, some subdued maltyness and low bitterness.
