4.9%, 23ibu, draft at brewery. Brown color. Long lasting surface covering lacing. Aroma is all to style - earthy and leafy yet light. Flavor weakens out a bit with a slightly watery finish. But again a earthy and leafy light beer. jtclockwork (16685) - , New Jersey, USA - JUL 19, 2016

Pours tawny brown with an off white head. It’s lightly nutty, toasty and has English slant. It has a medium crisp body with biting carbonation. Had nice nuttiness and scotch and caramel/toffee, but the spice and carbonation is a little too intense. Still nice though.

On tap at the brewery (5/15/15). Mild peaty smoke aroma and some Band-Aid. Light toasted grain. Dark caramel clear with thin head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts moderately dry with peat smoke and Band-Aid. Nutty hoppy bitter notes in the finish with moderate sweetness. Band-Aid smoky nutty after. Draft taster at the brewpub. Medium brown with small lite tan head. Smoke, caramel malt, peat, as expected for the style. Not particularly well executed. nuplastikk (6312) - Madison, Wisconsin, USA - NOV 1, 2014
Tap at MBC. Amber caramel brown body. Thin off-white/beige head. Light to medium bodied. The UK yeast sort of takes over. Not so impressive. badgerben (5213) - Blaine, Minnesota, USA - OCT 18, 2014
GABF 2014. Brown color with a medium head. Light malt aroma. Smokey malt flavor. Very full bodied. boto (2247) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - OCT 12, 2014
Draught @ Brewpub: This one pours a clear, very dark copper color. There was a small off white head that didn’t linger or leave any lacing. It has a nice nose. Caramel malts, some peat and smokiness. The taste is also good. A good malt body, but no real sweeetness. A somewhat dry finish. Some peat and smokey notes. A good solid beer!
