Clear amber color, small white head. Grassy hoppyness and some caramel in the nose. Also hints of apple. Light to medium-bodied. Grassy with some caramel. Quite standard German.
Swing top bottel. Grassy, caramelly notes in the aroma. Grassy hopbitter flavor with toffee and caramel. Caramelly bitter aftertaste. Hint of roast. Well balanced and well made. mR_fr0g (13509) - Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 9, 2015

Clear amber in the glass, light tanned head. Malty nose. Starts with a lot malt, bread. Easy to drink. pivnizub (10811) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - FEB 16, 2012
Bügelverschlußflasche (fortunately not discovered by MoritzF!): Deep golden coloured, quite stable medium-sized white head, grainy nose with a touch of cardboard; mild to moderate sweet-bitter flavour, light bodied; shorter grainy and papery finish. A "trendy" and disappointing brew…

50 cl bottle @ wPBF’14.MoritzF (10095) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - MAR 3, 2012
Pours clear dark golden color with a minimal head. Aroma of starch, caramel, malts and sweet fruits. Flavor of starch, hay, malts, caramel and yeast. Straightforward.
(swing top bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a big and slightly beige foamy head. Slightly draffy caramel-malty aroma with notes of herbal and slightly grassy hops, accompanied by traces of Cantuccini cookies in the background. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied with a moderate carbonation. Cara-malty and slightly bready taste with rounded herbal hoppy notes; dry bitter-sweet finish with herbal hops and a tinge of cara-malt in the aftertaste. Interesting Vienna-Pilsener hybrid. 17.II.12 Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - FEB 26, 2012
bottle, kindly donated by pivnizub - díky moc! Clear, deep golden colour, large white head. Slightly sourish malty nose. Medium-bodied, malty base with nice herbal hops, slightly medicinal. Spicy finish after a malt dominated middle part which also has hints of darker malts. Erzengel (9504) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - DEC 27, 2013
The beer starts smooth, slightly bitter and nicely smooth. The mainpart is smooth, slightly bitter. Caramel, malty, highly drinkable. The aftertaste is medium to long. Smooth, not too sweet, not too much caramel. The_Osprey (9157) - Richmond, Greater London, ENGLAND - OCT 1, 2015
--> Nice beer but nothing that special. If I remember the "Schwelmer Bernstein" correctly, this beer is less sweet, which I like better. Nice to drink and smooth. Leaves a not too sweet caramelly and slightly bitter note on the tongue.
Swing-top bottle, shared at Chriso’s, thanks to Travlr. 4.7%. Clear amber orange, still, small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is biscuity, crackers, light honey. Body is light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste has more cracker malts, honey with a soft bitterness. Quite plain, but alright.
