Bottle from trinkgut, Ge-Buer. Light yellow colou with a warming hint, disappearing white foam. Clean slightly bready malts and a surprisingly strong noble hop character, Hallertau according to the bottle, giving a spicy and slightly herbal grassy character. Simple, flavoursome and smashable. The Travlr tasting at ChrisO’s. Thanks to Gene for all the beers and Chris for hosting. Bright clear pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Modest fine carbonation. Very light pale malts. Light floralness. Mildly grainy pale malts. Little citric bitteness. Light finish. Fine.
Swing-top bottle, shared at Chriso’s, thanks to Travlr. 5.1%. Pale orange, still, clear, small bubbly white head, light lacing. Aroma is crackers, soft citrus, a little earthy. Body is light, tingly carbonation, slightly foamy. Taste is pale barley malts, sugars, more crackers, soft bitterness. A clean, simple, plain helles. Solid but doesn’t set itself apart from the pack.
