500 ml swing top bottle from ThirstyBird, thanks! Poured into a pilsner glass, ABV 4.9%
Clear body, with huge activity going in there. Bright golden yellow colour, two fingers of thick, soapy head that actually gained in size at first, while sitting in the glass. Excellent retention, heavy lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is quite malty, with stale bread and hay notes.
Malts on the taste too, but they seem to dominate the background mostly. Yp front a nice bitterness is in command, quite intense with long duration too. Some hay also present too, as an aftertaste note.
Very very dry on the palate, good carbonation, medium thin body.
Overall a very tasty and bitter pilsner. Mortlach (2347) - Rome, ITALY - JUN 11, 2013
29/04/2012 500ml bottle, IP trade (thanks Erzengel!). Deludente. Theydon_Bois (19513) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - MAY 12, 2013
Tap at Feige’s Stammhaus, Bochum, 27/04/13.
Clear mid golden with a frothy white head that retains well.
Nose is pale malts, grass, light caramel, sugars.
Taste comprises light citrus, grass, caramel, mineral notes.
Medium bodied with fine carbonation.
Drinkable pils - a little on the boring side. Arve_Christian (5144) - Oslo, NORWAY - MAY 4, 2013
On bottle from kiosk in Bochum. Golden color, good foam. Some fruitiness, light hops and some boiled vegetables. Light/ medium body & complexity. Good bitterness & balance. Enjoyable ThirstyBird (2925) - Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, ENGLAND - MAR 21, 2013
Thanks to pivnizub for the bottle! Pours clear pale yellow with a nice white head that sticks around for a while. Smell is of crisp, fresh hops - floral. There is also the sweet, light caramel malt backbone. Taste is a nice blend of the sweet malt and nice crisp hops. Wonderfully balanced ending quite crisp, dry and slightly bitter. Body is light and the carbonation is soft and beautiful. I will work this one into my rotation.

Ein Charakter-Pils aus dem Revier; kräftig-würzig mit ausgeprägter, geradezu knackiger Hopfennote. Ein klassisches Pils! omhper (25138) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - NOV 15, 2012
Bottled, thanks pivnizub! Clear golden, mid sized head. Spicy hop aroma. Dry and rather slender with firm, rounded mouthfeel. Spicy salty finish with very distinct bitterness. Nice pils! MichaelAwesome (6519) - Wanne-Eickel, GERMANY - AUG 3, 2012
0,5 l swing top bottle. Similar to pilsners from northern Germany as it gives you some bitterness. Colour is light golden, head is white and stable. And taste is citrus, bitter. For fans and friends of tougher pilsners. Kills your thirst for sure but nothing for a cold winter night. McTapps (6889) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - AUG 3, 2012
To drink and enjoy this beer, you really need to be a fan of very bitter beers. This beer is really bitter, but comes down with a great and fair portion of honesty and pureness. Citrus aroma, best to be drunk really chilled. stkl93 (3) - - JUL 16, 2012 does not count
Very richly flavored Pils with quite a bitter taste. Definitely has its own character unlike some other German breweries.
