Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is fruit, malt, cooked vegetables. Flavour is fruit, malt, hop, cooked vegetables. Weird bitterness in the beer , but it´s still drinkable. . DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 24, 2009
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 [9/7/09] Botte from pivnizub (thanks!)l at my hostel in Brussels. Clear golden color with a slowly-diminishing, bubbly, medium white head. Aroma of nice grassy hops and some bready notes. Bitter flavor of noble hops, light graininess, bread, a bit of hay-ish notes and some sweet malt. Medium-bodied. A decent Pils, woud probably be a lot better on tap. bierkoning (13813) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - AUG 11, 2004
Swing top bottle. Soft hoppy aroma with mint. Firm hopbitter flavor and afteratste, that hardly leaves room for other flavors. Well made pilsener of the Northern German type. Medium bodied. Rune (13773) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 19, 2018
From tap during a tasting session at Foersters Feine Biere. A rocky white head to a bright straw-golden body with a greenish shade. Spotty lacing. Aroma of mild grainy malts, mid-sweet. Smooth taste profile of honeyed malts, noble hops, and bread. Distant bittersweet ending. Clean in the mouth. Refreshing with fine drinkability (Berlin 11.01.2018). thewolf (12949) - Kolding, DENMARK - JUL 2, 2007
Bottle. [thanks to Grovlam]. Pours a very clear and quite pale yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is hay-like maltiness and the flavour does not expand particularly on this experience. Quite hin with a general malty sweetness, but on the plus-side, there was a surprising touch of flowery hops in the taste at the far end of the aftertaste - something I did not catch in the aroma.

Draught at Fiege’s Stamhaus in Bochum, on December 27, 2008. Clear golden color, white head. Nice malty and fruity fresh scent. Nice fresh malty and spicy taste. Smoth mouthfeel, medium bitterness. pivnizub (10911) - Bochum, GERMANY - APR 1, 2005
UPDATED: DEC 2, 2006 From the tap: Quite pale with a firm, long lasting white head; stupendous aromatic clear hoppy nose - like walking in a hop-garden in late summer; light to medium body; the initial short sweet maltiness swings to a big explosion of hoppiness before a big dry, hoppy, long and longer lasting finish. Lacks a bit a fuller body, otherwise, all You Bitburgers and Warsteiners: this is an almost perfect Pils in the north-german style !
Re-rated 8/7/06: Draught, served in a stein: Superb aroma: fresh sweet hops with a lot of resin; strong bitter flavour, but a very smootrh mouthfeel as well. An extraordinary german Pilsener ! KimJohansen (10498) - Frederiksberg C, DENMARK - DEC 30, 2008
Clear golden with a huge white head. Sweet aroma with grainy notes and hints of malt. Grainy flavour with hints of hops. Finished mild bitter.
