Golden color, good white head. Buttery and herbal hoppy nose. Good woody hoppy and malty flavor, medium-bodied. Very nice late cut grass bitterness with buttery notes. Hoppyness continues in the long aftertaste. Praised here with reason, excellent clean brew with nice balanced malt and hop profile. Solid inheritor of Pilsner Urquell.
Grassy, hay plus sweet, almost caramelly, honey malt aroma. Clear straw with a quickly dropping white cover. Flavour begins with nicely balanced honey-sweet malt and hops flavour and then develops into a gently bittered, crisp feel. Sort of a bitter and sweet finish, moderate carbonation, medium body. Another fuller-bodied German pils with excellent maltiness! Thanks, again, pivnizub! Christos (5909) - Arnhem, NETHERLANDS - JUL 26, 2013
500 ml swing top bottle from ThirstyBird, thanks! Poured into a pilsner glass, ABV 4.9%
Clear body, with huge activity going in there. Bright golden yellow colour, two fingers of thick, soapy head that actually gained in size at first, while sitting in the glass. Excellent retention, heavy lacing left on the glass.
Aroma is quite malty, with stale bread and hay notes.
Malts on the taste too, but they seem to dominate the background mostly. Yp front a nice bitterness is in command, quite intense with long duration too. Some hay also present too, as an aftertaste note.
Very very dry on the palate, good carbonation, medium thin body.
Overall a very tasty and bitter pilsner. bartlebier (4214) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - FEB 24, 2014
50cl fliptop bottle sample in "Alles IPA - Craft anders" ProBierClub seminar, Braukunst Live 02/2014. Natural grainy aroma, radiant pale malts. Taste is defined by an immediate and surprising onset of grassy and spicy hops usually more typical of Franconian and Bohemian pilsners, creating a pleasant full-frontal bitterness, resting on cultured sawdust and fragrant grains. / Will revisit soon.

Bottle, trade with McTapps. Pours in light clear pale body with medium to high frosty head. Aroma is bready, noble on the nose, malty. Taste has medium to high noble bitterness upfront, well supported by a clean malty sweetness with earthy finish at the end. Body is full, high carbonation, refreshing. davidtjm (1075) - Berlin, GERMANY - DEC 13, 2014

On tap at Foerstiger Feine Bier in Berlin. Fruity and floral smell with some pale bread. Similar taste. Clean and very drinkable. pivo (2689) - GERMANY - MAR 19, 2006
Light sweet wet hay nose, yellow color, spongy head. Light pale malt, broad dirty hop bitter that drys the inside of the upper teeth like a dry martini. Light and refreshing, but not so interesting in the end. A good session beer.
