Bottle - Cleat golden color with nice white head. Taste is a bit sweet, medium malty, medium hoppy with a dry and semi-bitter finish. Good but not great.

BlackHaddock (7583) - Shropshire, ENGLAND - MAY 19, 2017
Flip-top 500ml bottle: BBD 22nd Oct 2017. Drank at home on 18th May 2017. Pleasant, easy going Pilsner with a soft and mild nature: usual Pilsner looks, clear and clean pale golden in colour with a fast fading snow white head. Light floral nose and a slight malty taste balanced by a mini hop bitterness. One of the best German Pilsners I have had.

Nose is light toasty/bready malt, some spritzy hops. Flavor is bready malt, some light caramel notes, tingly hops. nice bread character in the finish.

Bottle. Clear yellow color with a average frothy good lacing mostly lasting white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, straw, light fruity and hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Very harmonious and in a good balance. Body is light to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at home ... pale golden yellow ... light hop ... light fresh ... then mellow lager hop ... tiny touch of malt ... bit bitter in linger ... typical german could be bit better scoredif not for linger.

imdownthepub (15137) - Banbury, Oxfordshire, ENGLAND - OCT 12, 2007
Bottled, flip top, 500ml, courtesy of Der Doppelbock (Sebastian). Pale gold with white head. This is a Pils with a little character, quite lemony and hoppy with also a sweetish cereal note. Soft with a vague hint of vanilla, toffee. Nice crisp finish. Reasonable.

MiP (15960) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - FEB 26, 2008
Bottle, 4.9%. Nicely citric and malty aroma. Clear golden colour. Nice, stable white head. The flavour has OK malt and a distinct bitterness which gets rough. Quite clean and probably a good session beer once one gets used to its roughness.

DSG (15119) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - SEP 24, 2009
UPDATED: FEB 11, 2010 [9/7/09] Botte from pivnizub (thanks!)l at my hostel in Brussels. Clear golden color with a slowly-diminishing, bubbly, medium white head. Aroma of nice grassy hops and some bready notes. Bitter flavor of noble hops, light graininess, bread, a bit of hay-ish notes and some sweet malt. Medium-bodied. A decent Pils, woud probably be a lot better on tap.

Embrouille (2854) - SWITZERLAND - NOV 10, 2009
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of pivnizub. A well made pilsener. Effective, good bitterness, hoppy. Probably even better on tap and without having a row with your girlfriend :-( Thanks a lot pivnizub!

JanLaursen (3227) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - NOV 6, 2011
Bottle, 50 cl: Straw-yellow beer with a lush white head and a fresh, slightly sweet aroma of malt, grain and grass. The flavor is moderately sweet and mild bitterness. The body is light, soft texture, carbonation average. Dry hoppy bitter finish. A nice textbook German pils.
