JorgeLee (2194) - Greater London, ENGLAND - AUG 8, 2016
Bottle, courtesy of Hermann. Deep dark brown in colour, ruddy, white foam. Well balanced with sweet fruity treacle malt and pleasant hop bitterness. Lakshmi liked this one. All these Fiege brews have been very well made.

markschiedon (682) - NETHERLANDS - MAY 28, 2016
Drinking from a 500 ml bottle. In the aroma chocolate, caramel, coffee and cherries. The clear black beer has a medium brown head. The taste doesn’t conflict with the aroma, nicely balanced. Medium carbonated.

22/V/15 - 50cl bottle from a trade @ Brazilian Tasting (home) - BB: 30/V/15 (2015-658) Thanks to Thirstybird for the extra in the trade!

Clear dark brown beer, small creamy light beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, caramel, bit sweet. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of caramel, bit sweet, malty touch, some bitterness, citrus. Aftertaste: pretty hoppy, mocha, caramel, grains, hay, cow fodder, nice roast. Really liked this one. Very surprised about bartlebier’s low rating. Maybe I was just very very thirsty. :p

500 ml. bottle sampled @ “Brazilian Tasting”. Thank you tderoeck! BBF 30.06.2015. Dark brown, creamy mocha. Nose is metallic with herbal nose, cheap syrup, older lager nose, caramel syrup, basic, thin, touch aged & lightly metallic. Taste is light metallic, cheap bit thin syrup, caramel syrup, extract-like, light herbal bitterness, basic syrup,… Body is a bit older, thinned out lager with metallic note. Very basic, syrup, metallic etc. like. Okay for what it is.

sebletitje (10287) - Enghien, BELGIUM - MAY 23, 2015
50cl bottle courtesy of and shared with Tderoeck and 77ships. BB 30/05/2015.

Pours Like a glass of cola with a large tan head. The smell is dull roasted malt, molasses. The taste is rich roasted malt, molasses ending dry and crisp. Light+ in body with fine carbonation. Nice stuff.

bartlebier (4118) - Belchium im Biersgau, GERMANY - DEC 11, 2014
UPDATED: FEB 6, 2015 50cl fliptop bb05/2015, cheers McTapps. Stale aroma of wet cardboard sheets glued together by cheap industrial honey, soggy wort. Taste adds some roast aromatics, never really delving into real charred black Schwarzbier territory, evoking more cheap sugared milk chocolate drink than coffee and dark chocolate, with a pancake syrupy edge. Strange metallic blood quality to the mouthfeel, as if enriched with hemoglobine. Despite all of this pretty drinkable and not offensively bad, just off the Schwarz mark.

Erzengel (9364) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - OCT 27, 2014
On tap. Smooth, fresh. The beer is mild, slightly roasted-bitter, sweetish-mild, The aftertaste is sweetish-mild, quite sweetish with nearly no bitterness.

culchiem (4104) - Berlin, GERMANY - MAY 29, 2014
Bottle from McTapps. Light coffee malt aroma. Dark brown with a large frothy head. Flavour is thin brown sugar, dry roast base, long dry malty finish.
