A beautiful import! Nothing could be a better accompaniment to riding the London eye.

A tasty English strong with a delightfully complex character or Raisin and malts with deeper but mellow oakish notes. Clear amber with just a little head, this crafty brew earns its name ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours reddish brown with a small biege head. Aroma of malt, fruit, and wood. Taste is malt, fruit, caramel, and wood. Might have had an off bottle, but was not impressed at all.

mmahut (1859) - CZECH REPUBLIC - JUL 11, 2013
Bottle, bought at OP. Pours in hazy dark amber body with almost no head. Aroma is malt sweetness, with dark dried fruits in the background. Taste is sweet with oak and caramel notes. Medium biterness in the after-taste, long lasting. Alcohol joining the party as well. Body is medium with high carbonation.

Well, this is certainly in the speckled/tooth neck of the woods, taste-wise. A bit more oomph than Hens’Tooth though and a bit more sweet sugary malt. I like this quite a bit but it is a departure from US style beer.
