Bottle - Grass, grapefruit and light caramel. Clear gold with a thin head. Biscuit, caramel and light hop bitterness. Much better than I expected from a lighter ale. Very tasty. probstblueribbon (3791) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 5, 2013
50 cl bottle in a mixed pack from LCBO, served cold in a tulip glass. Clear golden with a small white head. Surprisingly nice hops...mainly grassy and peppery with a little pine and floral character, biscuit malt support, grapefruit, quite nice. Medium body, moderate carbonation. Lots of nice, fresh hops, Saaz-like with some citrus and resin, still has light, biscuit malt support, tasty; dry with gentle bitterness and a pleasantly hoppy, balanced finish. Dang, this is nice! kvnstfrd (32) - Branson, Missouri, USA - NOV 5, 2013
After a very long wait, I finally got my paws on this brew!
Pours a gorgeous, almost-clear golden color with a fluffy white head. Earthy aromas of cereal grains, dewy grass and a sweet bouquet of spicy hops. Taste is all hops at the beginning with malty and fruity English barley following close behind. Aftertaste is pleasantly hoppy and long-lasting. Body is light, crisp and refreshing with mild carbonation.
Overall, a light, but tasty brew with a low ABV; the perfect recipe for warm weather! cfrancis (3407) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 2, 2013
Pours clear golden yellow with a white ring. Aroma is bready, grainy malts with honey. Taste is clean honey and fruity gains. barncatmatt (2285) - Cambridge, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 2, 2013
500ml bottle from the LCBO, Hen House gift pack. golden with a white head. nice citrusy aroma. the flavour is fruity, hard to tell if its the malts hops or yeast, everything just works so well together. wonderfully hoppy golden ale.

Aroma is mildly skunky mint floral. Maybe that’s what Galaxy hops smell like? Appearance is extremely clear gold with a little white head. Taste is very mild, although right at the end you get a little malty backbone and a bit of a hoppy scrape. Actually the taste is a little bitter and has some citrusy notes. Good for sessions all day long. geologyguy (1583) - Columbia, South Carolina, USA - OCT 27, 2013
unique smell to it, must be the galaxy hop they mention...hard to describe, but almost a refreshing smell...taste is unfortunate though...watered down beer with all taste coming on the end from a slight hop bitterness....just fizz and bitterness to this beer...classy bottle though lol seymour (1985) - Maplewood, Missouri, USA - OCT 25, 2013
Shared from a clear bottle into a nonic half-pint glass. It poured a crystal-clear golden colour with thin head which immediately dissipated, no foam or lace remained. Neutral grainbill, some faintly fruity ale yeast esters but most of that was stripped away too through filtration, leaving only strong Galaxy hop aromas and flavours: strawberry, melon, catty mint. A little musky and harsh, perhaps it was light-struck in this clear bottle, which seems like an especially bad choice for such a hops-forward brew. Very light body, very strong carbonation, thin mouthfeel, bitter, vegetal aftertaste, dry finish. "Refreshing English Ale" is a true statement, but there just wasn’t much else to it. Aroma cítrico, refrescante, leve amargor, frutas de verão. Dourado brilhante, boa formação de espuma e bolhas. Sabor refrescante, amargor persistente, pede mais. MustangMarkF (249) - Coventry, West Midlands, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2013
500ml Bottle. This pours a amber body topped with a medium laced, medium lasting white head. Its aroma is slightly citrus (lime) hops and some spice/floral notes. It tastes slightly orangey and slightly medicinal (but not in a bad way at all) with a slightly dry bitter finish. A lovely all round beer this one. I will certainly be having this again.
