3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
500ml Bottle. It pours a dark golden body topped with what is at first quite a dense head but it soon goes leaving thin lacing. Its aroma is not exactly "bursting" but there is malts and a hint of grapefruit. Its taste is full of malts and the hop inspired grapefruit but theres is also a spiciness and subtle hints of dark chocolate ending in a dry bitter finish. One of Greene Kings better beers but not a top 10 beer.
UPDATED: SEP 3, 2017 Bottle from Asda. Copper or maybe brass, with a yellowish head that doesn't really stick around. The main aroma is pine, that continues in the taste. Dry, sharp, bitter. MarcinG (1005) - Cheshire, ENGLAND - AUG 31, 2017
UPDATED: AUG 31, 2017 Butelka 500ml. Miedziana barwa. Piana biala, mala ,szybko redukuje sie do obreczy. W zapachu duzo cytrusow i chmielu, w tle trawa i lekkie owoce tropikalne. W smaku mimo cierpkiego zapachu jest raczej slodkawe za sprawa owocow tropikalnych. Pozniej pojawia sie cytrusowo-chmielowa goryczka z lekkim ziemistym posmakiem. Niskie wysycenie pasuje.... 50cl bottle, clear. Amber, copper color, thin white head. Toffee, biscuity sweet aroma. Flavor has toffee, biscuits, light citrusy notes, bitter, dry finish. Quite good, refreshing. jjsint (3493) - Leicester, Leicestershire, ENGLAND - SEP 26, 2016
Bottle from the Anchor, Cambridge. Amber, mostly clear, with the tiniest bit of off-White head. Loads of lacing. The malty scent is a bit messy. There’s a touch of hop somewhere but I just can’t seem to pin it down. Refreshing sweet taste: the spicy rye and the New World hops make more of an impact here. Clean finish although the residual malty/yeasty gunk reappears in the aftertaste. It ain’t a classic, but it’s as good as many craft ’APAs’ that have been foisted on me in the past.

50cl bottle. The beer has a clear deep copper color and a small head. The aromas are straight forward : toasted bread, cat pee, some watered down flower honey and herbs. The mouth feel is smooth and watery. The taste is dry and bitter from roasted toast and herbs. lmojoh (994) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 11, 2016

500 ml bottle, bought in London, shared at local tasting. ABV is 4.2%. Deep golden colour, white head. Pleasant aroma of toffee, vanilla and caramel, only a hint of herbal hops. "Typically British" flavour with toffee notes, the hops are distinct only in the bitter aftertaste.
