COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottled, pasteurised;
It’s rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty yastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

UPDATED: OCT 21, 2015 Poured into pint glass a copper Amber with quick to dissipate to sides of glass white head and limited lace. Aroma of malt and wet cardboard. Taste was malt heavy and mostly toffee with a mouthfeel a notch or two above thin. Slightly bitter in the finish with a slight woody note. From some of the harsh reviews I though it would be worse but it was okay.

Dark amber colour, smooth creamy texture, sour, hop taste, with caramel, malt and toffee undertones. Tapped at the Angel Hotel at Catterick Village.

Why did I buy this? I don’t know really? Aroma is earthy and sweet. Moist flowers and honey. Taste has fruity malt and some old grass from yesterday. Toffee-sweet.

Pours a bright deep golden with dense off white head.earthy, bready aromas. Creamy, low carbonation. Inoffensive ’high pitched’ hop flavour that is let down by a lack of significant malt presence to balance. No.

Man behöver inte alkohol för att ha roligt, påstås det. Vilket är förbannad lögn i det här fallet. Minst 1,5 procent saknas innan det finns nån som helst anledning till glädje.

Sour in smell, and dark and great in color. The nitro adds a nice smooth texture. Nice malty flavors

Lots of fruity toffee malt in the nose. This beers color looks superb. Brown with ruby streaks punching through. Also get some earthy hops on the nose. Hay, earth, honey. Fruity malt really shows through on the palate, followed by some medium toffee body. Very trimmed hop presence at the end. Good quaff ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

500ml bottle from Asda. Pours a dark(ish) toffee colour with little head. Smells of old ’beer’. Tastes of creamy homemade toffee, brown sugar, malt. Quite chew and not as watery as I first thought. Previous reviews put me off a bit but this really isn’t bad at all. Slight dry finish, not hoppy though. Would buy again but please get rid of the clear glass bottles.

Bottle from ICA Maxi Eurostop in Örebro. Smell of caramel, butter scotch and old beer that has been sitting on the counter for a while. If you have ever stepped into a room where there was a party the day before you know the smell. Similar taste but not as dank as the smell. Fairly smooth, hardly no bitterness. Not the freshest beer I’ve had.
