Bottled, pasteurised;
It’s rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty yastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

500ml bottle from Asda. Pours a dark(ish) toffee colour with little head. Smells of old ’beer’. Tastes of creamy homemade toffee, brown sugar, malt. Quite chew and not as watery as I first thought. Previous reviews put me off a bit but this really isn’t bad at all. Slight dry finish, not hoppy though. Would buy again but please get rid of the clear glass bottles.

Bottle from ICA Maxi Eurostop in Örebro. Smell of caramel, butter scotch and old beer that has been sitting on the counter for a while. If you have ever stepped into a room where there was a party the day before you know the smell. Similar taste but not as dank as the smell. Fairly smooth, hardly no bitterness. Not the freshest beer I’ve had.

Clear copper, medium off-white head. Aroma of malt and damp cardboard. Caramel, malt loaf, citrus. Hops are quite buried. Middle of the road.

0,33 bootle. Nice red colour. Very good ale beer. A little bit of hop and dark malts flavour.

Bottle, bought at Ica. A nice, well balanced ale. Rich, but still smooth, versatile.

JHeath99 (1679) - Warner Robins, Georgia, USA - JUN 23, 2014
Bottle. Pours transparent copper with a thin ring of off white head. Aroma of caramel. Taste is malts and hops.

SamTheBarrel (824) - Vallentuna, SWEDEN - JUN 22, 2014
500ml clear bottle with a recognizable gold rimmed octagonal label, poured into a pint glass. Appearance is clear dark amber with a medium sized beige head that dissipated quickly. Aroma of toffee and caramel. Flavours of toffee, caramel and bread. Taste is light sweet and medium bitter. Palate is light-medium bodied, slightly oily texture and average carbonation. Overall a decent beer, especially considering this is the 3.5% ABV version.
