Bottled, pasteurised;
It’s rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty yastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Starkölsvarianten är en konservativ sak och denna är av samma skrot och korn. Utöver den torra och halmaktiga smaken så har ölen en väldigt lite kropp och jag upplever nästan den som lite fadd.

Sensational, very tasty. Good body, fills the senses. Affordable, worthy of acclaim. Toffee nuts giving rise to splendid taste. A king among beers.

Old speckled cock. Oh man, I had a brilliant idea for a review but can’t remember it for toffee. Still, at least Dom’s have become less creative, that’s happened at beer 70, took me till about beer 250. This show I must be superior.

Beesbeer (452) - WALES - SEP 4, 2012
I like this as a bog standard session beer. Amber colored with a foamy cream head. Flavours of melted caramel, butterscotch, toasted malt and a light touch of hoppy bitterness. Quite a good balance overall.

Svesse (8731) - Hässelby, SWEDEN - AUG 28, 2012
(Bottle) Amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of apricots, toast, orange and slightly syrupy malt. Malty, fruity taste with toasty malt, apricots, citrus, bread, caramel and a decent citric bitterness in the finish. Rather light body, quite dry. Decent 3,5% version of the beer.

50 cl bottle @ home. Rated on 06.11.2010
Vertical with 5,2% version. Surprisingly this one was worse
Aroma is a bit thin with grainy malt and some toffee. Flavour feels harsh, thin and grainy with toffee and hints of fruits. Also some vichy-like aromas typical for beers with low ABV. This is exactly what you can expect it to be: a thin and watery version of the original.

Borup (15157) - Albertslund, DENMARK - JUL 24, 2012
Bottle from ICA, Ystad. Clear amber colour with an off-white head. Aroma and flavour of caramel, malt, spice and hops.

S_Side_Smitty (776) - Lakeland, Florida, USA - JUL 9, 2012
Pours a clear amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma is peppery malts. Taste is bread, black pepper, and malts up front with a mild hoppy bitterness in the finish. Really not that bad. Score seems to low.

Nice caramel color, taste is smooth but kind of skunky. Taste gets better after beer has been sitting out for a while and half way in to the bottle. Overall its a decent beer. I wouldnt mind having it again but it would not be my first choice.
