Bottled, pasteurised;
It’s rich amber colour and superb fruity aromas are complemented by a delicious blend of malty yastes. Toffee and malt combine with bitterness on the back of the tongue to give a balanced sweetness. This is followed by a refreshingly dry finish.

Nice caramel color, taste is smooth but kind of skunky. Taste gets better after beer has been sitting out for a while and half way in to the bottle. Overall its a decent beer. I wouldnt mind having it again but it would not be my first choice.

500ml bottle at Purecraft Bar, Birmingham. Amber with a fine white head. Aroma of freshly burnt Christmas pudding and rich brandy-soaked fruits. Golden flavours of biscuit and butter.

Poured from clear pint bottle into a nonic pub glass, a crystal-clear orange amber colour with thin but persistent beige foam. Mild caramelly malt flavour plus simple sugar which coaxed extra fruity esters from this historic Morlands ale yeast. Subtle balance of Challenger and Goldings hops. Slight mineral water and tea-like tannin essence. Moderate carbonation, light body, a bit thin, but to be expected at this low-gravity/low alcohol point. Tame, easy drinking, refreshing, albeit with some light metallic and oxidation faults. I’m sure the fresh cask version is better, but this is an enjoyable and authentic English bitter.

A can, 0,5l, 5%. Bought from a lokal supermarket on Lanzarote. The color is clear amber with stable off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma. Taste is very mild with hoppy notes. Lightly bitter finish. Smooth to drink, but I’m missing a bit more taste/alcohol in it. But anyway, enjoyable beer.

Rhombic (136) - Elx, SPAIN - NOV 15, 2015
Pours clear reddish amber with a small white head, mostly diminishing. Crisp hoppy aroma, grassy, like that of a strong pilsener. Flavour is light hoppy with more malt coming in through the finish. Refreshing feel. Carbonation is medium to high, texture is thin oily, body is medium with a clear hoppy finish, on the long side.
