500ml can from a supermarket. It's a lightly hopped malty ale which is very pleasant. However it used to be 5.2% not 5% ! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a cask in an English pub in Rickmansworth. The highest ABV they have, its the best beer Ive had in this country yet. Thin head but long-lasting sudsy lacing. Clear golden amber, refreshing spiced aroma. Served just above room temp. Standard lager.

Light amber, clear, tall, persistent and fine mousse. Light body, weak flavor, low heat, flat mouthfeel, dilute finish. Mildly bitter, very dry and low acidity. Hoppy in bitterness but not much flavor, dryness probably prevents full appreciation of flavor. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours copper with a thin creamy head. Aroma of caramel malt and slight fruit. Flavors are sweet malt, muted stone fruit and earthy hops. Creamy mouthfeel but slightly peppery. Nice traditional English ale, but nothing extraordinary.

Beautiful creamy pour, nice velvety head. Silky smooth body. Malt backbone throughout aroma and smell. Typical bitter finish, enhanced NY the cask pour.

Generous sample at ACAT. Nice, hazy orange, with a creamy, beige head. Lovely caramel aroma, with notes of honey, cashews, and white bread. Sweet, with a mild hop bitterness. Medium body, creamy, and smooth. This is an excellent, balanced, and easy drinking beer.

Beardbeerman (341) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - DEC 28, 2014
Pours a copper robe topped by a vivid white head. The nose is skunky but lets through some floral hints and a touch of honey or toffee. The taste is balanced but offers a tiny bit too much bitterness from thet malts for my taste. Good english ale.
