500ml can from a supermarket. It's a lightly hopped malty ale which is very pleasant. However it used to be 5.2% not 5% !

Poured from a cask in an English pub in Rickmansworth. The highest ABV they have, it’s the best beer I’ve had in this country yet. Thin head but long-lasting sudsy lacing. Clear golden amber, refreshing spiced aroma. Served just above room temp. Standard lager.

Light amber, clear, tall, persistent and fine mousse.
Light body, weak flavor, low heat, flat mouthfeel, dilute finish.
Mildly bitter, very dry and low acidity.
Hoppy in bitterness but not much flavor, dryness probably prevents full appreciation of flavor.

Bottle. Pours copper with a thin creamy head. Aroma of caramel malt and slight fruit. Flavors are sweet malt, muted stone fruit and earthy hops. Creamy mouthfeel but slightly peppery. Nice traditional English ale, but nothing extraordinary. anthony850 (473) - Andover, New Jersey, USA - JUL 20, 2015
Kind of a bland tasting beer. Nothing too interesting about it.

Beautiful creamy pour, nice velvety head. Silky smooth body. Malt backbone throughout aroma and smell. Typical bitter finish, enhanced NY the cask pour.
