The standard ale that you get in every corner shop. Pours orange, which isn’t a good start.. Head quickly fizzes and dissipates. Smells malty and distinctly chemical - chlorine. Feels gassy and a bit slimey in the mouth. Not much taste to write about - though there is some mild bitterness and also a hint of toffee towards the end. Just always feels a bit horrible in the mouth. This is the beer that my wife buys for me because she knows I like beer - bless her. I always drink it though.
Had this from a bottle. When I poured part of it there was not much of a head on it, it had a reasonable bit of carbonation. The Colour is light/orangey brown. The smell is caramel, may be a bit of brown sugar. Quite a sweet initial taste to it, a bit of a tangy taste sits on the tongue after the gulp of beer, the malts really come through in the after taste. Pretty solid beer to be fair, from what I remember it is nice from the can as well (and on cask). kalunapz (136) - CROATIA - JUN 20, 2017

50cl bottle at home. Appearance: crystal clear amber with medium off-white head. Aroma: caramel, grains, toffee, sweet malts and ’hopjes’. Taste: medium sweetness and fairly high bitterness. Notes of caramel, grains, bread, bitter hops. Finish is bitter with some warm caramel. Palate: light bodied, watery texture and soft carbonation. Pretty good, but I expected a little more warmth and fullness. Rubin77 (2032) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 6, 2017
