This classic english pale ale is a good example of a well sessionable ale. Slightly on the sweet side this beer has a great up-front aroma and is very satisfying in the mouth.
An easy beer to drink for all occasions. Pairs well with almost any hearty food and can be enjoyed just as well on its own.

Had this from a bottle. When I poured part of it there was not much of a head on it, it had a reasonable bit of carbonation. The Colour is light/orangey brown. The smell is caramel, may be a bit of brown sugar. Quite a sweet initial taste to it, a bit of a tangy taste sits on the tongue after the gulp of beer, the malts really come through in the after taste. Pretty solid beer to be fair, from what I remember it is nice from the can as well (and on cask). kalunapz (134) - CROATIA - JUN 20, 2017

50cl bottle at home. Appearance: crystal clear amber with medium off-white head. Aroma: caramel, grains, toffee, sweet malts and ’hopjes’. Taste: medium sweetness and fairly high bitterness. Notes of caramel, grains, bread, bitter hops. Finish is bitter with some warm caramel. Palate: light bodied, watery texture and soft carbonation. Pretty good, but I expected a little more warmth and fullness. Rubin77 (2028) - Brussels / Bratislava, SLOVAK REPUBLIC - JUN 6, 2017
