This is the single greatest name an ale can have. English ales really aren’t my preferred, but this isn’t too bad. Came in a nitrogenated can. Smooth, a little sweet, awesome name.
Caramel on nose. Roastiness And caramel malt taste slight bitter finish. Lovely SinH4 (6573) - Garching b. München, GERMANY - JAN 15, 2018

Drank two bottles of this on New Year's Eve. It was actually not too bad. Inoffensive and neutral with some caramel and biscuit notes. I'd drink this again for free. For sure. drjoeng (1466) - SINGAPORE - DEC 28, 2017
5%ABV. Strong bitter.
Poured out deep amber. 14ºSRM.
Nose has burnt sugar and fresh water chestnuts, candied yams and sweet roasted root vegetables.
Mouthfeel is beery and watery. Palate has a sweet herbal quality, also reminiscent of roasted tea and burnt rice tea with pine nuts. Hops are right at the end and noble and just there to provide some balance.
Finish is beery. fkoolen (1403) - Maastricht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 27, 2017
UPDATED: DEC 27, 2017 Bottle at home. Interesting orange amber colour, clear, foamy offwhite head. Bitter malty, dry; blend. Light bodied, medium carbonation.
