Too much body to be an outstanding Pale Ale and too sweet to be a Bitter. A good beer but not very well style-defined, in my opinion

Interesting mixture of fruits and caramel in aroma. Small head disappearing to thin layer. Clear light amber colour. Light grassy bitterness with malty and caramel sweetness in taste.

500ml can. Pours chestnut with a small beige head. Aroma of sherry soaked Christmas cake, dried fruits, toasted rye and orange peel. Fairly light in the mouth, caramel malt first then Christmas cake, orange peel and a bitter finish. Really quite decent. @4.48 for 4x500ml cans, Id say this is a good fridge filler.

Pours clear, deep copper colour with a small offwhite head. Aroma is bready malt and caramel. Taste is slightly sweet, with a slightly bitter finish. The base is bready malt and caramel and that is followed by spicy rye, tobacco and herbal hops. Its creamy but light bodied with very low carbonation. The first impression is watery and bland, but there is a bit of complexity to it and its got that great English mouthfeel.

330ml can at a BA flight (M&S menu). Decent beer, smooth and slightly creamy. Flavour is not its strength, but it is drinkable.

Nice looking mahogany colored beer with a thin foamy light tan head of varying sized bubbles that leaves little lace. Fairly faint nose of almonds, caramel, and lightly toasted bread. Flavor follows the aroma with a little less nuttiness and more of the doughiness finished with a rather musky bitterness that lingers. Decent bitter.

0.5l bottle. Pours amber with medium carbonation. Syrupy caramel taste. Slightly better than average but not by a high margin.

440 ml can at the house. Creamy off white head. Creamy from the nitro. Deeper copper in color. A little bitter on the palate but smooth. Deep grains in flavor and overall a very delightful and drinkable beer!
