Serving: 12 oz. bottle. It pours a clear amber color with a short lived white head. The nose is a mix of euro lager (thanks to that clear bottle I’m guessing) and buttery English ale. It’s a little slick on the tongue with a stale bitterness and a touch of toffee. Off balance with a bitter finish that reminds me faintly of aspirin. Light to medium body with average carbonation. Less than mediocre.

Pretty decent bitter. Light and smooth, though not as smooth as I'd like. Bitter finish more pronounced than expected. Light honey and some grass. Tried for the first time back in 2010 and only now transferring the rating.

Bottle from old backlog notes. Pours a clear orange color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have grainy and lightly sweet malts, toffee, floral and light herbal hops, thin and nothing pops, seems old, I wouldn’t (and haven’t) revisit this.

Veryt nice with the English style in there. Creamy and not ritring. Easy to drink and fine aroma there.

Patrickctenchi (6810) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - DEC 28, 2013
Pours copper-amber with a frothy, parchment coloured head. Aroma is slightly skunked, (clear glass) caramel malt, flowers. Taste is slightly nutty, slightly stale, caramel malt. A bit of earthy, leafy bitter. Ok, but a bit bland.

Bottle - good size foamy head, clear light copper color, sweet malty and corn aroma and flavor, mild hop bitterness, not bad overall ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a copper color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of citrus and mild malt sweetness. Taste of malt, some caramel sweetness and mild citrus in the background. mild bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Moderate body and smooth with a nice balance. Enjoyable Bitter, nothing fancy but still quite solid.

Drank directly from a crystal clear bottle. This beer is classified as a bitter but I find very little bitter attributes within. Very mellow and easy to get along with. Some cabbage on the pop but that is to be expected considering the bottle. Nice clean lookin almost brown pale beer. Yes, goes down fairly easy. These lower alky beers are fun to deal with. There are some ale attributes present but fer sure its better than some of those moreland beers I’ve had like speckeld hen but this may not be as good as the golden hen I had on cask. On the finish this beer is trying to a little bitter but never quite gets there.

12oz bottle. Good clean hoppy aroma, caramel. Smooth, lighter crisp carbonation, light body - impressively easy to drink. Good light bitter taste. Clear orange color, nearly no head. Light bit of honey? Much better than expected
