Mornington Peninsula Brown is an English-style Brown Ale, at 5.0% ABV. Brewed using classic imported English ale malts, our Brown displays all the wonderful rich and toffee characters associated with these malts. Pouring a deep golden brown with hints of red, aromas of toffee, brown sugar and raisins greet the nose. The palate offers more toffee and raisins, with a supporting cast of chocolate and nuts. Rich, full-bodied, smooth and moreish.

330mL can packaged on 19/07/17 (20 days old). $4. Appearance: Dark brown. Beige head which quickly faded to a ring. Aroma: Toffee, chocolate, caramel. Quite soft but a good opening act. Taste: Sweet toffee, chocolate, caramel malt, a hint of roasted malt. Firm bitterness. Alright malty aftertaste. I did not get any advertised raisins. Overall softer and not as rich as their porter. Palate: Fine carbonation and a creamy texture. So smooth. Overall: Tasty and easily drinkable brown ale. I see why Mornington is known for its brown ales. This was the first Mornington can I've seen with a packaging date. 6/3/7/5/16

Like a wise old man. Wirey beard. I'm picturing a master of a trade. Maybe a leather smith? He's aware of the new way of doing things, but is content in his ways. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

A moreish English style Brown Ale, aromas of nutty toffee, raisins and chocolate, deep brown-burgundy colour with a thin off white head, full body smooth texture with a sweet toffee and raisin flavour and characteristics of chocolate, could easily drink more.

Poured in Sydney. Pours a deep amber brown body. Light sugar sweetness on the palate up front. Plain overall with notes of light sugar, cocoa and sweet round malt. The palate is somewhat muted overall.

330ml bottle - Kinselas, Sydney. A deep brown colour with a small, creamy light tan head atop that left a fairly uniform lace down the glass. Aromas of chocolate, roasted malt, dark fruits, earth, toffee and demerara sugar. Mid-weight, medium carbonation and a finish of moderate length and intensity roasted malt and liquorice.
