UPDATED: OCT 8, 2017 330mL can packaged on 19/07/17 (20 days old). $4.
Appearance: Dark brown. Beige head which quickly faded to a ring.
Aroma: Toffee, chocolate, caramel. Too soft but serves as the opening act.
Taste: Sweet toffee, chocolate, caramel malt, a hint of roasted malt. Low bitterness. Decent malty aftertaste. I did not get any advertised raisins. Overall softer and not as rich as their porter.
Palate: Medium carbonation, fine bubble size and a creamy texture. Smooth.
Overall: Tasty but not too complex. First Mornington can I've seen with a packaging date. 6/3/7/4/16. 8/Oct/17 update: had a second can and the aroma was also hardly detectable. RoJo28 (74) - - JUL 14, 2017
Like a wise old man. Wirey beard. I'm picturing a master of a trade. Maybe a leather smith? He's aware of the new way of doing things, but is content in his ways.
