330ml bottle. Light brown in colour with a decent sized head. Some mold malt aromas with some caramel in there as well. Good sweet biscuity malt taste that sits well in the mouth. Starts a bit thin but finishes strong. Maris (1531) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JUL 20, 2012
From a 330ml bottle (from the Miicro Beer Club with an uncommercial, home made looking label). Pours a very cloudy dark golden with smallish head. The aroma is primarily caramel malt with some citrus fruit. This is quite flavoursome, with strong fruity notes (lots of tangerine and some lemon against a caramel malt background. Has a sharp, long, quite refreshing bitterness. The body is quite full. Not a typical ESB but still pretty good. davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JUL 12, 2012
On tap at the courthouse. Nice ESB, well balanced. Aromas of caramel, nuts, and grain, with hints of liquorice. Taste is sweet, with bitter notes, and long length. Palate is velvety, and medium bodied. Amber, with a frothy head.
