From can. Pours a murky amber with nice tall head. Bold resinous aroma and drinks with delicious IIPA level hoppiness in perfect balance, really tasty and dangerously easy to drink. Cleverly stays within the boundaries of bitterness and taste where many IIPAs fall down. Great beer jmgreenuk (10706) - Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA - SEP 16, 2016
Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a hazy dark amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is sweet malt, toffee caramel, citrus fruit, alcohol. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a rich woody resin hop bitter, citrus, alcohol palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. mcberko (20487) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - JUN 1, 2016
330mL can, pours an opaque deep dark amber red with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out lots of chewy caramel malts upfront and resinous hops. Flavour is likewise very chewy and malt-heavy, with lots of bready caramel and light resinous hops. Not the most harmonious, but it’s decent. StevieT (2008) - AUSTRALIA - NOV 18, 2015
From a can. Wow, this is good, imagine a great IPA with every flavour is turned up a few notches. Delicious. Maris (1640) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - OCT 14, 2015
From a 330ml can on 14/10/2015. Pours a cloudy dark golden with a small head. Has a lovely deep, fruity, hoppy nose, with lots of tropical notes and some light caramel. Take a sip and there’s more caramel, which is quickly overtaken by bucket loads of sweet fruit (peach, apricot, mango), some spicy rye like notes, and masses of resiny, mouth coating hops. The palate if thick and the carbonation soft. This is a super smooth, very flavoursome DIPA, with great mouth feel, and is very hard to fault. Mornington is a consistently good brewer and this is one of their very best.

330mL can from Slowbeer.
Deep copper body, holds a small firm white cap.
Aroma is resiny, dank, spicy, woody hops, cooked citrus and ripe stonefruits with rich caramel malt notes.
Thick texture, syrupy, resiny, slick texture, low carbonation, clings long on the finish.
Palate is intense - lots of citrus rind, stonefruit, pine and leafy hop character, big punch of caramel malt sweetness holds up throughout. Lingering leafy bitterness, warming finish.
Substantial stuff, missing that little bit extra to take it to the next dimension. Sevenlee (1846) - Central Coast, NSW, AUSTRALIA - SEP 30, 2015
Pours a dark amber colour with a beige head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, floral and hops. Taste is medium sweet leading to a big bitter hop finish. Very good. Rangi (671) - NEW ZEALAND - JUL 8, 2014
Brilliant big imperial ipa. Full of aroma, flavour and depth. Big fruity citrus with a lot of resiney goodness. Great tasty beer. Theodopilos (68) - - JUN 14, 2014
Bottle from the brewhouse in brisbane, poured into tulip glass, a lovely burnt orange colour, one finger head with good lacing, aromas of pine, passion fruit, taste is the similar to aroma but with a sharp bitterness, another great Aussie beer Jado (805) - Camp Hill, AUSTRALIA - DEC 6, 2013
From 330 ml bottle. Pours a deep hazy brown with a pillowy off-white head and vigorous carbonation. Aromas of pine, caramel, citrus, biscuit and a touch of sweetness. Taste opens with biscuity malt, soon overtaken by an intense hop bite with lots of pine resin. Slips into some zesty citrus at the end. Medium to full bodied. Pine and malty aftertaste. Well balanced for the up-front style. Good.
