Mornington Peninsula Pale is an American-style Pale Ale, at 4.7% ABV. Pouring a cloudy golden yellow with a tightly packed white head, our Pale has both passionfruit and citrus aromas, showcasing the American hops added late in the brewing process. A light smooth palate, aided by the generous addition of wheat malts, moderate bitterness and carbonation make for a flavoursome and sessional ale.

Bottle from Mane Liquor. Pours amber with a small white head. Clings to the glass and leaves a frothy head. Heavy caramel malts and piney hops on the nose. Pine and citrus hops combine with sweet caramel malts. Works nicely and balances well in the taste. Nice beer. Easy drinkability. Reminds me a lot of Little Creatures Pale Ale. Works well

Pours dark amber with a large, lasting head. Nose shows tropical fruit, resinous hops and lots of sweet clean malt. Textbook new-world pale ale. Similar amount of malt upon tasting, very sweet, lots of caramel. The hops are not forgotten, with more tropical fruit and resin. Finishes with a bold bitterness that can’t quite keep the malt in check. Carbonation could be higher to dry out the finish a little.

Day 4 of 2016 Advent calendar.
Orange amber and just shy of bright. Creamy, compact off-white crown lasts the length. Phenolic, clappy, husky nose with a little raw bread dough and lemon peel - smells dank and a little oxidised. Taste is a little on the tired side unfortunately. Drabby hops, light esters of tangy citrus fruit with a nutty, slightly smoky and husky malt profile. Dry, cardboard-like finish. Light bodied but awkward in mouthfeel with a crispness that is a little left of style. One for a re-rate!! (33cL, no date stamp, Boozebud)

Tried on tap at the brewery. This and the porter where my pick of the beers tried. Passionfruit and apricot aromas that carry through to the taste, medium bitterness and good carbonation made this very drinkable.

330mL bottle BB 28/OCT/14 :( Deep golden body, holds firm white head. Restrained aroma; toasty malts, citrusy, wood spicy, somewhat tropical fruit hops in the mix. Medium body, high but soft carbonation. Body is quite rounded with a subdued toasty, biscuity malt character playing host to floral citrus hops with hints of melon & tropical fruits. Moderate bitteness on medium dry finish. Overall, a good APA - well flavoured, good balance, highly sessionable.

On tap at the brewery. Served a hazy golden color with a nice head that faded to good lacing. Fresh aroma of pine, fresh fruit, inparticular passionfruit and bit of malt sweetness. Taste on citrus, mild malt sweetness and bit of passionfruit. Nice bitterness and a fairly dry finish. Medium body, crsip, smooth and flavorful. Nicely balanced. Very enjoyable beer. Nice take on the Pale Ale.

Bottle. The hops seemed a little dulled and the malt soapy. Not drinking as good as the others I’ve tried.

UPDATED: JUL 13, 2013 Previous tasting note is spot on. Lots of tropical and passion fruit on the nose; very pure and lifted. Palate is dry with minerals and pepper and quite a step away from what the aromas promise. Notwithstanding the lean flavours very sessionable and the dry structure should be applauded.
