COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Mornington Peninsula Pale is an American-style Pale Ale, at 4.7% ABV. Pouring a cloudy golden yellow with a tightly packed white head, our Pale has both passionfruit and citrus aromas, showcasing the American hops added late in the brewing process. A light smooth palate, aided by the generous addition of wheat malts, moderate bitterness and carbonation make for a flavoursome and sessional ale.

Good, hoppy nose with citrus, grapefruit and a bit of candy. Pours a cloudy pale amber with a washing watery consistency and head. Flavour follows the nose with some malt sweetness and a good hop sharpness - notes of dry, estery tang making it moreish and thirst-quenching with a long, dry finish. The brewer has clearly taken a lot from best in breed APAs and endeavoured to produce similar. The results, while still needing some work, are pretty good.

Can. 330ml. Pours a straw golden colour with a lingering white head. Aroma: very mild passionfruit and tropical fruit aromas. Taste: mild passionfruit, pine, citrus flavours. Lightly bitter, thin feel, and reasonably dominant carbonation. A good and refreshing brew, that is perfect as a session beer. Not strong flavoured or particularly interesting, but still an enjoyable beer.

Tap @ brewery. Very hoppy passion fruit aroma let down a little with only a medium hopped mid palate but a nice long bitter finish. The beer grew on me as the glass went on and the bitterness developed.

330ml can poured into a glass. Deep cloudy gold with nicely formed head. Smells of passionfruit, mango, watermelon, honeydew melon, cantaloupe/rockmelon. Clean, crisp fruity taste, with lemon, passionfruit and melons. Fantastic summer ale.

Poured from can. A nice-looking hazy gold with a staying finger of white head. Decent aroma of tropical hops, citrus, grassy malt. Flavour follows well, notes of citrus and passionfruit, some earthiness to the malt. It’s quite light on in feel, and perhaps falls away a little quickly. Overall a good PA, restrained notes and flavours, sessionable.
