Mornington Peninsula Pale is an American-style Pale Ale, at 4.7% ABV. Pouring a cloudy golden yellow with a tightly packed white head, our Pale has both passionfruit and citrus aromas, showcasing the American hops added late in the brewing process. A light smooth palate, aided by the generous addition of wheat malts, moderate bitterness and carbonation make for a flavoursome and sessional ale.

Clear orange and moderately frothy. A little plain for a pale ale. Quite a sharp and bitter, not much fruit flavour.

Day 4 of 2016 Advent calendar.
Orange amber and just shy of bright. Creamy, compact off-white crown lasts the length. Phenolic, clappy, husky nose with a little raw bread dough and lemon peel - smells dank and a little oxidised. Taste is a little on the tired side unfortunately. Drabby hops, light esters of tangy citrus fruit with a nutty, slightly smoky and husky malt profile. Dry, cardboard-like finish. Light bodied but awkward in mouthfeel with a crispness that is a little left of style. One for a re-rate!! (33cL, no date stamp, Boozebud)

Poured from can. A nice-looking hazy gold with a staying finger of white head. Decent aroma of tropical hops, citrus, grassy malt. Flavour follows well, notes of citrus and passionfruit, some earthiness to the malt. Its quite light on in feel, and perhaps falls away a little quickly. Overall a good PA, restrained notes and flavours, sessionable.

Draft at Taps Beer Bar, Changkat, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is fresh zesty citrus hop, some yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big tropical fruit, grassy hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation.
