Bottle from Beer Cartel (May 2014). A gusher, lost about 1/4 of the bottle all over the bench :( Cloudy pale straw colour, frothy/soapy white head, spicy, lemon peel, doughy yeast, hay, banana, light body, thin texture, mild dry bitter finish. Ok. Muggus69 (2435) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - MAR 3, 2014
Hazy straw body, holds a good firm white foam.
Moderate intensity aroma; decidedly spicy - woody coriander seed, white pepper, touch of clove, with a bit of bitter orange peel and wheaty cereal.
Full body, a tad undercarbed & stodgy for the style. Dries out toward the finish.
Cereally malts aplenty upfront, quite sweet actually. Savoury spice continues with coriander seeds and citrus. Some banana/ripe fruit esters on a moderately dry bitter finish.
Lacking the tartness and complexity of classic examples. cjldm (55) - - JAN 16, 2014
Pours pale gold, small head that dissipates quickly.
Refreshing nose of citrus; light orange with spring grass. Some spice too. Certainly Belgian summer.
Taste follows the nose, providing sweet and spicy orange and lemon up front. A mix of fruit in which the flavours don't quite clearly give each other space in the way a Belgian might. Falls away mid-palate (pineapple on the aftertaste?)
The mouth is quite tough and syrupy, which may be hiding some of the finer touches to the flavour.
Refreshing and good to see the style being brought to Australia. Given the success of Schöfferhofer in bars, it would be nice if Belgian Wit could catch on for summer weather.

Tap @ brewery. Citrus aromas. Coriander and orange peel flavours. Quite sweet but with a spicy mid palate. This beer does not grab me. Bif (2235) - St. Charles, Missouri, USA - JUN 9, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Served a hazy pale golden color with a decent head that fades to some lacing. Aroma of citrus, fruity with banana nd bit of spice. Taste of citrus, banana, mild malt sweetness and a bit of spice. Decent bitterness and a fairly clean finish with a nice touch of tart. Fairly light body, smooth and creamy. Nice beer for the style.

There’s loads of bubbles in the head, such that I had to spend about three minutes just pouring this into my glass. I love the look of the intense bubbles in the head. The aroma is predominantly banana, with a little toast and mild grapefruit. The taste has a stronger hop profile, with grapefruit and lemon, underpinned by banana with some spiced fruit on the side of the tongue. It’s a little watery, however. This beer was a classic witbier. It reminded me a lot of the feral brewery’s wheat beer. A bit much for me jdpeebs (686) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - MAY 8, 2012
Pale straw in colour, pleasing citrus aroma. A bit too over carbonated. Nice spice and citrus flavours. Has a nice tart finish. A good interpretation of a classic style.

Hazy straw yellow with a foamy white head. Citrus and spicy aroma. Some sourness in the taste. Not bad Whit. Maris (1498) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - JAN 17, 2012
From a 330ml bottle on 17/1/2012. Pours a slightly cloudy dark yellow, with a big, thick head. Has a zesty lemony aroma, with a touch of spice. The flavour is typical for a wit - banana, bubblegum, coriander, citrus, with a bit of bread pudding. This is a pretty good wit, just slightly over carbonated.
