BubbleAromas3 (5) - Brunswick, AUSTRALIA - NOV 17, 2017 does not count
UPDATED: NOV 19, 2017 Pint on tap at the Spotted Mallard, Brunswick (May 2017). Golden in colour, with a floral aroma, a nice balanced taste and a bitter finish; quite reminiscent of the session bitters I used to drink back in England.

Muggus69 (2759) - Yarram, Vic, AUSTRALIA - AUG 31, 2017
330mL bottle from Bucket Boys.
Orange gold body, slight haze, white foam.
Moderate intensity aroma - toasty, biscuity, bread crust, slight honey sort of malt, earthy hop presence.
Medium body, some chewiness there, lowish carbonation.
Malt drives the body; bread crust & savoury biscuit, some savoury sort of hops, dried herbal character there, decent bitterness, dry finish.
Approachable; be a good introduction to the Bitter style - not as malt or bitterness driven as authentic examples.

Pint on tap at Basement Brewhouse, Bankstown. Pale brown beer with thin white head. Carbonation is low and slow. Light body, slight fizz. Nice malt profile which becomes sweeter in the finish. Let it warm a bit and it becomes more balanced with hop notes. Nice bitter.

As Best Bitter. Draught @ Saint John. Hazy light tan. Has a light fruitiness, not much bitterness, and has a refreshing character. A little subtle, might benefit from a handpump.

mkel07 (6461) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - AUG 18, 2014
Bottle from Slow Beer May 2013. Pours dark amber almost brown and carries aromas of caramel and fresher baked cookies. Malty flavour that sits well in the mouth.

KeefOz (1926) - Tarragindi, AUSTRALIA - SEP 27, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 30, 2017 Poured a translucent pale golden amber with a thin white collar that laced poorly. Carbonation low, slow and very coarse. Aroma is quite malty with hints of earthy hops. Taste of slightly sweet malt with hints of spices and earthy hops bitterness; best served at a warmer temperature than usual for Australian beers. Light body. Crisp, slightly dry, malty finish.

hawthorne00 (4147) - Melbourne, AUSTRALIA - MAY 28, 2013
Bottle, 12C. Clear golden amber with an off white head that lasts well. Earthy aroma with dusty spices, some lemon, bread. Lightish bodied but just slightly chewy. Tastes as it smells - some apricot there too - with a dry, spicy bitter finish. Maybe the spiciness is a little much. Deeply refreshing. Not exciting, just good.
