Bottled. Light currant aroma. Medium tart, citric, slightly sweet currant taste. I´m not a big fan of cassis regardless of the beverage, but this one was quite nice. RichardGretton (4770) - Leicestershire, ENGLAND - FEB 6, 2005
Frothy reddish brown beer with a nice strawberry like flavour even though it is cassis. The flavour is again fruity and overwhelmingly similar to strawberry. Overall an OK lambic. steve23mj (273) - Essexville, Michigan, USA - JAN 5, 2005
Pours deep copper color with red tinged head. Nose is berrylike with sour and citrus character. Flavor is stingy, with tartness known with other lambics. There is an underlying sweetness. Dry tart finish. caesar (7165) - Bunnik/Utrecht, NETHERLANDS - DEC 24, 2004
Slightly hazy red to purple color, medium head. Aroma of sweet artificial fruit, blackcurrant, some marzipan. Sweet taste like most of the mort subite beers, and to this one they added a bunch of blackcurrant esters. dreamboat (186) - Brisbane, AUSTRALIA - DEC 12, 2004
Brown/red/purple colour, with a thin fine head. big blackcurrent aroma, reminding me of purple winegums (for the NZ audience). Full, dry, tart blackcurrent flavour.

purpleish brown, nice fine bubbled head. Aroma is sweet fruit, blackcurrant, light woody sourness. Asringent oak, rich fruityness, Blackcurrant, grapes, and lime/citrus, sour dryness, spicy, with a clean finish. Ungstrup (37861) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 7, 2004
A very lively beer, that blew the top of when opened. The color is a hazy red amber with a light brown huge head. The aroma is surprisingly sour - very nice - with clear notes of black currant, but also lemon. The flavor is sweet from the black currant, but on a quite sour, very fresh background, other notes is of lemon, grapefruit, and hints of wood. rgrep (156) - Wellington, NEW ZEALAND - SEP 10, 2004
(5 Apr 04) Has a big confectionary aroma of cassis (blackcurrant) and bubblegum, reminiscient of grape-flavour Hubba Bubba. It pours a medium red/brown with a large, rocky and creamy pinkish head. The body starts off heavily sweet and finishes long with a yoghurt sourness. robertsreality (2460) - Minnesota, USA - JUN 22, 2004
Had at The Central, St.Andrews. Reddish Coloring... Very fruity...definity Lambic.. boto (2247) - Granby, Connecticut, USA - MAY 27, 2004
25cl bottle: This beer pours with a fairly large red-tinged head. It subsided quickly, despite the fizziness of the beer. It is a clear, lighter reddish-copper color. The aroma is all curants. They smell a bit tart . A nice tart lambic flavor , but I agree with it being a bit artificial tasting. Rates an OK for the style, but not a must have.
