So Im biased on this one probably because it was a twelve year old bottle that the bartender at Delirium Cafe pulled out of the cellar. But it was amazing, still bright and bubbly, huge funk, subtle complexity.

UPDATED: SEP 30, 2016 25 cl bottle, served in flute glass. Poured clear amber with a two finger off white head. Lively carbonation in glass. Aroma: Peach, champagne, grapes, green apples, cider. Taste: Apricot, peach, green grapes, green apples, some funk, strawberry. Medium body with a very sweet, fruity finish with a little hint of tart in the background. A very sweet geuze, too sweet to my liking. Tastes almost like a fruit lambic. Clearly a commercial Geuze. Other giveaways are: Small 25 cl bottle instead of 37,5 or 75 cl. And capped instead of corked? Then its a capsulekensgeuze.

Robe ambre, mousse crmeuse. Nez plus complexe sur des notes fruites, une note de lambic, un cot balsamique. Bouche lattaque fruite, une fine acidit, une sucrosit prsente et une finale quilibre. Un gueuze agrable.

its not often that i keep smelling the beer and then smelling the beer in appreciation, this is that time. the aroma is like crisp fresh bread, i can almost taste the soft dough, making me hungry. the beer pours into a light yellow with a minimal white head. although the aroma did have signs of vinegar it isnt until the taste that you really get the flavor. once you taste it the flavor almost become like dipping the fresh bread into some nice oil and vinegar. i look forward to buying it again and will definitely savor this taste.

Farbe: helles umbra. Schaum: gut Nase: suerlich komplex, apfel most keller, zitrone, holz Geschmack: frisch sauer apfelig, feinperlig im nachgeschmack nach getreide und ein bisschen orange, sonst dominiert die sure. Lecker!

25cl bottle. Pours gold with a large frothy white head. Aroma is sugary sweet funk. Taste is perhaps sweeter than expected, light, with hints of pear and honey. Wouldnt have put this as a gueuze in a blind tasting. Lacks any sour aspects.

25cl bottle. Apperance: Amber with a high head, but with a very poor retention. It does create some lacing. Aroma: A bit faint, but some funk and apples and woode. Taste: Light sour, sweetish for its style, some funk, Pears, apples some wood.Finsihing too sweet for its style. Thin Body ,Low, carbonation. Seems like a watered down Geuze from a big macro brewery. backlog rating.
