The Kriek Mort Subite is brewed according to the ancestral lambic recipe. This original Belgian beer ferments spontaneously. Enriched with cherries, it matures soft and slowly in oaken casks. To be served cool.

Great head and Colour. This lambic style naturally fermented beer is a gem. Complex like a good wine.

Quite high on the fruity sweetness, and relatively low on the sourness. But the malt body makes up where this beer is lacking elsewhere. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The look of the beer is that of cheap red lemonade. The color is a bright red and the ’beer’ is quite clear. There is a little amount of pink rough foam. The smell is awful. It is mainly an aroma of cheap cherry candy, which is way to sweet and a little artificial. The taste is nothing better. It has massive amounts of very sweet and sour cherries in it. I wonder if they have added sugar for additional sweetness. The taste is to sour and is just an artificial disgusting children’s cherry lemonade that happens to contain alcohol. I don’t thin this is beer. This is a shame for beer.

Bière rouge avec 15% de cerises. Peu d’arôme et peu sucrée vs l’autre mort subite concurrente. Finale sur l’acidité et léger arôme cerise.

Bottle, bus stop outside of brussels march 12th 2015. Looks clear red with a small pinkish head. Aroma is subltle sour and berries, sweet and sour taste of ripe berries and almonds, with a crisp acidic finish. Lacks a little punch but is quite refreshing and easy drinking.

Aroma is cherries, malts and a hint of chocolate. The flavor is cherries, fruit, malts, a hint of chocolate and a very tart/slightly earthy finish.

deep red pour, nose is intense sweetend. cherry syrup, artificial sweetness, cough syrup. this should be linked to a fruit beer instead of lambic

tarmok (1433) - Tartu, ESTONIA - FEB 14, 2016
reddish liquid with pinkish head. aroma of malts and cherry. Tastes like cherry juice, light sweetness, lightly bitter, medium sourness. light body, thin feel, soft carbonation,

From Tap: cherry red, little head, cherry-candy like aroma, very sweet, little to no sourness, tastes a lot like cherry-softdrinks, flat to average carbonation, thick mouthfeel. to sweet...

I am surprised there is so much dislike of this beer. Light red color. Lacing pink head. Some light earthiness with yeast. Mildly tart. Lots of cherry flavor and one of the sweeter fruit lambics. I enjoyed this.
