Spontanious weekend 07. Notes say: Cherry lambic funk, tart. Hints of sourness and rasberry is quite in here too. Quite the winner. henrikb (1264) - Aarhus, DENMARK - JUN 3, 2007

draft @ WoSF 2012 // clear wine red with no head // smell is awesome sweet and fruity kriek’s, quite fruity // taste-wise, the kriek’s are more mellowed out, reminds me of canned cherries a bit especially the way they are when the pie has just finished, tart, lemon acid touch in finish, maybe hint of wood, wonderful winter spices in the back, simple, effective yummy, much better than their sweetened crap // completely flat, flat-vile

Little cloudy red brown to purple beer, no head. Aroma: lots of cherry candy ("poepkes"), some spices, little sourish, but citric sour. MF: no carbon, medium body. Taste: very spicy, cinnamon, cloves, sourness, soft cherry flavours, nothing too sweet, nice tartness. Aftertaste: more spices, fruity cherry and soft citric sourness. Really good stuff.
Draught: Served in Troch shaker
Some pink bubbles on top of a hazy warm and love red colored beer.
Aromas of some smooth red fruit, cinnamon/cherries, cherry skin and some hints of wilder yeast, cheese and wood.
Flavour is good tart/sour with red fruits, light wrang, light acidity, some cherries, some wilder yeast, light dry, yoghurt, some cinnamon/cherries, older malts, some berries, light dusty. Very nice.
Aftertaste is a mix of sours, light red fruit, light hay, yoghurt and berries.
Low carbo, watery mouthfeel, medium to fuller bodied and a watery texture.
Yummi: tart and cherries, what else do you want!

(draught of course)Beautiful hazy cherry-red; no head. Nose of speculoos! And some sweet cherries. Good, sweet, again speculoos-y kriek. With a finish that is just the true sour-cherry bite I want. Great. Dry, fruity, good body. An excellent cherrylambic. Start selling this to the public, morons! Leighton (22769) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JUN 6, 2011
On tap at DHL, Belgium. Pours a clearish red with a light, filmy head. Tart, aged cherries in the nose. Sharp cherry flavor, quite sour, lightly sweet. Light to medium in body with average carbonation. Clean, sharp finish, pretty dry, lots of wood and cherries. Delicious.
